I was staying at traders' hotel with my boyfriend. Just a short staycation and it comes with complimentary breakfast. So we went ahead the next day. There was many people and about 8 people queuing in the line and I was the 3rd person on line. Service not bad, pretty fast, I waited about 5 mins? They would ask if you want to start with coffee or tea and there we go, coffee. Looking at the spread of the dishes and cuisines, impressive. Okay, & I really can eat alot. So take a look at my pictures and I would leave my short comments there.

The spread of my awesome breakfast. The overview. tongue
I have the cold chicken ham to start my feast. Not that bad however, the smell is strong so I dint really like it. Baked beans, as per normal because its' canned. The scramble egg was pretty tasteless however if you place pepper and salt, it taste so much better. Chicken chipolata not very tasty because it tasteless sad However, the thicker ham I had was really awesome, sweet and tasty. The bacon was bad, bad, bad. So salty. However, overall, I'm feeling good because it could fill my tummy.

CafeBiz do have many different different kind cereals, about 9 varieties. Not bad and also, they gave many different kind of milk. Worth praising.

Orange juices. They really bring pride to their restaurant. They have about 5 different nice juices.

The pictures of of the thick ham. Awesome.

COLD CHA SOBA. Smile Jul 24, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Sushi/Sashimi

I was craving for Japanese food! The nearest shopping point to my boyfriend's place is Jurong Point so we head over there to settle our dinner. The food not that bad however, I would say, the staff service is so good. When I walked in, I was being greeted with a big smile and I believe some of staff are part time students but they really did a great job.

My favourite and I never failed to order this whenever I'm at Ichiban, it just tastes so good! The paste with the Tako is so sweet and the Tako is forever being so chewy! Loving it!

My favorite main, cha soba. I never fail to order this too because it's cheap and worth the price at Ichiban. The soba come in a huge portion, good to go for 2 person.

Edamame, it's good for health but I dont know why. However, I love salty stuff but not very salty. The peas are sweet and the outer covering is salty hence it really taste very good ,the combination.

Lobster sushi, lovers of lobster and wasabi should just go for this, the lobster ain't small little pieces, bite size however, the pricing is probably a little too pricey.

Recommended Dish(es):  cha soba,lobster sushi

The hearts of delicacy. Smile May 31, 2013

Was out with my boyfriend for tea and was deciding to have tea near east side.
Nestled in the heart of Siglap and Frankel Estate, the location of De La Creme might appear to many as a bakery that mainly caters to the residents who reside around the corner. However, the feature of this humble- looking cafe in our local newspapers and magazines has brought many (especially those with a sweet tooth) to travel from afar to sink their teeth on their rather renowned Macarons and many other pastries.

Mango Shortcake ($7.50)

Known as one of the pastries not to be missed should one pay a visit to the cafe, the cake was gently lifted by the scent and aroma of generous cubes of fresh sweet mango that were stacked between cream and soaked sponge.

Assorted Macarons ($2.40 each)

Difficult to be perfected, De La Creme’s Macarons are certainly not those mediocre morsels one can find just anywhere The Earl Grey Chocolate Macaron was my absolute favourite as enhanced by their butter- cream based filling. Known as a classic favourite, the Sea Salted Caramel Macaron was a little heavy on the palate since its filling could have been less buttery.

My boss treated my colleagues and I to Lim Seng Lee Duck rice. A very family style kind of coffee shop. It wasn't my first time trying out. A few times, I went with my friends, it was a pretty good food at a good price. Only once, I went there feeling very hungry yet the place was full house. I waited about 30 mins before I could get a seat however, it's worth waiting. Though it was pack to office but it was still piping hot and nice. With the gravy given, mixed with the rice, it's heaven. Once I tried their prawns, eggs and kangkong, very awesome. You should try it out one day. The boss of the duck rice stall will be doing his last business on 22nd June 2013.

Cheese cake brownie, owned by a family style bakery. Although the shop is small but it's good enough to fit in their oven and 2 set of tables. It's not my first time being here but many times I have been there and never regret traveling so far for great delicacies like baker's story! I feel that it taste deep down into my heart and never fail to fit my hear.

I would introduce my all time favorite brownie cheese cake! MINT BROWNIE CHEESE CAKE! It only cost $2.30 for a piece and you will never regret however, dont order too much when you're trying out for the first time because a small piece can really fill you up.
