Kimchi Soup

Kimchi Soup

I would not encourage people to try their kimchi soup, totally tasteless the only taste you have the chilli oil taste. It's very plain, very bare and the only good thing is there are chunk of beef, tofu and vegetable. However, I feel the soup really taste bad. Feel so disappointed.
BBQ Chicken

BBQ Chicken

The BBQ chicken does not seems tempting because of its colour however, it taste really good. But the portion is very little. It taste a little spicy and crispy at the same time. Not bad, can try!
KimChi Fried Rice

KimChi Fried Rice

KimChi Fried Rice was normal but it's not the best Kimchi Fried Rice I have tried but worth trying!

Tanglin Food Court is somehow quiet and peaceful during dinner time. I wanted something that have beef and walked past the beef noodles stall, want to try something fresh. The colours of the noodles is not very tempting, to my surprise, it taste so traditional whereby they have the thick beehoon and gravy sauce is really thick. Mixing the vegetables and gravy with the beef on, taste like heaven. The meat is chunky however those who do not really like tough meet, I would not advice them to try. Overall, it's great.

I was staying at traders' hotel with my boyfriend. Just a short staycation and it comes with complimentary breakfast. So we went ahead the next day. There was many people and about 8 people queuing in the line and I was the 3rd person on line. Service not bad, pretty fast, I waited about 5 mins? They would ask if you want to start with coffee or tea and there we go, coffee. Looking at the spread of the dishes and cuisines, impressive. Okay, & I really can eat alot. So take a look at my pictures and I would leave my short comments there.

The spread of my awesome breakfast. The overview. tongue
I have the cold chicken ham to start my feast. Not that bad however, the smell is strong so I dint really like it. Baked beans, as per normal because its' canned. The scramble egg was pretty tasteless however if you place pepper and salt, it taste so much better. Chicken chipolata not very tasty because it tasteless sad However, the thicker ham I had was really awesome, sweet and tasty. The bacon was bad, bad, bad. So salty. However, overall, I'm feeling good because it could fill my tummy.

CafeBiz do have many different different kind cereals, about 9 varieties. Not bad and also, they gave many different kind of milk. Worth praising.

Orange juices. They really bring pride to their restaurant. They have about 5 different nice juices.

The pictures of of the thick ham. Awesome.

When I arrive this place with my colleagues, the worker of the shop told us to wait for awhile as he wanted to get a larger table for us. So we waited, the service was pretty fast. About 5-10 mins waiting time to get a table, it's fast because it's lunch time. Another 5 minutes to get the food on our table and there we go, tasting the food! (:

Oyster Sauce Vegetable. shocked

Veggie not very tasty, a little bland.

My colleagues and I order half of a roasted chicken and half of a steamed chicken. I din't try the steam chicken because personally I dont like steam chicken. Roasted chicken was okay, not so bad but there are a little pinky bloodstain, I guess it's because the chicken was not well thaw.

Overview of the foodies.

The rice is fragrance enough to fill your heart. Add some black sauce to have it more tasty!
The chilli is spicy enough, mix the chilli and black sauce together! It will feel sweet and spicy at the same time!

My colleague actually bought me over to Monster Currcy at ION. Pretty impressive with it. IT really have huge plates and the portion is pretty big, good enough for 2 if you're not very hungry. However, I did not finish my plate as it is a huge amount for me and I'm just gorging it down. I had Fried fish Katsu Rice with only 1 flame because I can't take real spicy curry. On the contrary, my colleague took 2 & 3 flames but they said the curry don't taste much except the chilli itself. As you can see the pictures, the number of circles are the levels of flames. Overall, it's average and the price is a little high.

Well, give it a try! Something new in town.
