Tucked away at The Grassroots' Club, I had a little trouble locating the restaurant, but once I stepped in, it was as though I was at some Fisher's Market in Australia, leaving the city life behind.

For starters, I had Calamari. This dish never fails to delight me. Being a fan of squids, this is definitely a dish I would order, but then again, the quantity might be too little for a serving...

The soup I had was the Lobster Bisque in Bread Bowl ($4.50). The soup was a tad salty for me, but when having it with the bread bowl, it was just nice. It's very filling and pretty much a meal on its own.

My choice of main course if the Boneless Whole Milk Fish Fillet - served with White Pepper Sauce ($16.80). I'm in love with the sauce and how fresh the fish is but one thing that was frustrating would have to be the scales of the fish. There were so much that in the end, I literally removed the skin and just ate the flesh. Also, the de-boning wasn't very clean, I still bit into a fish bone and injured my gum.

Overall I give it at 3 out of 5. The scaled and bone really turned me off.

And lastly to end the meals, I had dessert, compliments from the owner. There was Honey Dew Pudding with Coconut Milk, Caramel Pudding and Mango Pudding. It was just a nice amount for a sweet ending, leaving you licking your spoons. My favourite would have to be the Caramel Pudding, it tasted a little like Creme Brulee...

Thank you Open Rice for the treat!
