Nice Cafe to Chill Out Smile Apr 15, 2013

We were looking for a place for dinner, and came to House of Robert Timms. It's quite a nice place to chill out with friends. They have quite a good menu on food, drinks, and even wine. I like that they serve their sandwiches on whole grain bread.

The sandwich that I ordered was quite massive (haha), which is really not like what is shown on the menu. I guess for the house sandwich, 2 persons can share. Love the fries smile

Nice Casual Dessert Smile Apr 15, 2013

Saw this new kiosk opened at Raffles City, and was curious to try out. Moreover, these sweets just look so cute!

Ordered Rum & Raisin for $2.90 per piece. It's nice that the cakes are handmade daily without preservatives.

The cake has a cake-exterior that opens up to a molten chocolatey centre. Gooey, slightly warm and niceeeee. Don't expect atas cafe standard, but I think S$2.90 a piece, it's really a good match for the quality vs price. A nice, fun and casual treat, especially if you are not intending to eat a standard slice of cake or dessert smile

Nice Malaysian fare! Smile Apr 15, 2013

My friend suggested this place, which I have not heard of.

We were pretty satisfied with the service and food. The signature nasi lemak has got really good chicken. Crispy, yet not overly oily. I had the chicken curry with bread, and was surprised at how fluffy the bread was. Great curry too (too bad the curry is too little!).

Great Dim Sum Smile Apr 15, 2013

Went there for brunch as my friend was craving for some Chinese food smile

I wouldn't have thought of Imperial Treasure for dim sum, so I was really surprised and glad we went!

We ordered carrot cake, custard bun, po lo char siew bun, siew mai, fried beancurd roll. And none of these disappointed us! Especially love the carrot cake with chunks of radish, and the molten salted egg yolk custard bun.

Great Kalamansi Meringue Tart Smile Apr 15, 2013

Was in search of a new place for dessert, and we chanced upon Au Chocolat.

Didn't manage to get into the Bistro, we bought some pastries off the shelf and sat at the open area in the coffee/milkshake area. Which was good as well. My friend and I sat there for quite a few hours comfortably.

We ordered the Kalamansi Meringue Tart and some chocolate cheesecake. Both were good! But were too big for us to finish haha. I guess it would be good for 2 person to share 1 cake since the serving is quite big.
