Shang palace is know for consistently good Chinese cuisine. Their dim sum is really good and we were thoroughly impressed. Really liked the carrot cake which was smooth and very light. Not greasy despite being pan fried to a crisp, and with chunks of radish dispersed evenly for contrast of texture and some bite to it. Flavour was good, being sufficiently tasty.

Tiong bahru bakery at raffles place is a nice place for a quick brunch or lunch. The last time
I visited I ordered a pumpkin soup. The soup came with two slices of bread which were not to my liking however when dipped in the soup they were still acceptable. The soup itself however was really tasty and flavorful. Within the soup were two large prawns which were really nice to eat being crunchy and fresh

Plaza brasseries best of Asia seafood promotion is really great! It's really nice to have a buffet why focuses on regional seafood specialities! One highlight for me is the delicious salted egg crab! Using flower crabs mean there is no need for a cracker to crack open any hard shells. The delicious salted sauce is savoury and clings to the shells of the crab. this was really really good I couldn't stop eating it!

Marche has an outlet at Somerset313 and it's always packed! The concept is really interesting where everyone gets to purchase all their food with a credit card.
I had Calamari Rings which was really good. It was so crispy on the outside with a great light batter. The calamari pieces were fresh and succulent and were tender and not overcooked. They went really well with the accompanying tartar sauce!

I also had the delicious burito style Savoury Crepe. It was also good, filled with tons of fresh vegetables.

The prawn mee here is pretty good. I guess that's why the queue is always so long. Priced reasonably, the prawn mee soup has a pretty good flavour and the prawns used are fresh and cooked to perfection. I must prefer the dry version though, the delicious sauce is absolutely delicious and complements the ingredients and noodles super duper well. They also give lots of beansprouts for crunch.
