Crispy chicken yum yum  Smile Oct 17, 2013

Categories : Korean | Restaurant | Korean Fried Chicken

My dear friend suggested to have dinner here and is raving about their chicken wings so we are here to give a try. Located at busy Tanjong Pagar area but in a small street which is not very busy after office hour. The lights here is kinda dim and tall sofa seating kind makes me feel like walking into a 80s 90s nightclub which I seen on TV *LOL*

Utensils and tissue can be seen placing on each table and friendly Waiter greeted us with their colorful menu.

Upon placing our order we are being serve with ice water and a small tin bucket for us to throw the bones very nice to have that cos it won't be messy!

since the tall seating is hard to see waving hands they have this calling bell!

We are given one plate of preserved raddish too and is very appetizing and crunchy! Up next - Seafood Noodle ($25) is a hot pot kind of serving with lotsa seafood added and is not really spicy. Chicken combo ($40) come in 3 different flavour - Garlic, Original and another one seems more like sweet and sour. I prefer the original is so crispy and juicy when you eat hot! Korea pancake - Bu Chu Jun ($20) dipped into their special sauce tasted good. Add on hot tea ($4), Korea Tea ($5) to end our dinner. Total spent after GST and service charge: $114.17. Will definately come back for more original chicken!

Recommended Dish(es):  Crispy original chicken

Crepe  OK Oct 16, 2013

Notice a banner outside the coffeeshop and there is a new stall Fruité Crepe I see there is no Q so I went on to make order since my girl wanted to have one.

After making order they told me have to wait for 15mins so since I have already asked my gal I don't wanna make her disappointed. So I just wait for it I thought the person whom is making the crepe might not be around. Unfortunately I am wrong the person whom take my order went to do up my crepe only when I return after going around at the area! I find it funny as there are 2 person mending the stall but the 2 of them just take their time to finish their dinner first before making my order!

Since is at peak hour crowd will be drawing in they should have take turns to have their meals instead. Baby choose to have sweet Crepe Choco Mashmellow ($3.50) crispy and generous chocolate was spread on it. Chocolate goes well with the mashmallow. I choose to have salted crepe - Cheesy Hotdog ($4.50) not enough cheese and I feel that without lettuce will be nicer.

Call me a suaku (Mountain tortoise) cos I never been to here for meals at all cos I seldom hit the North. I saw Queue forming up so I just join in cos I am aiming their chicken noodle. Besides chicken noodle, they also sell the char siew wantan mee which many are q-ing for it.

Sometimes I am afraid of the noodle smell which is very strong but this one not bad .... and the noodle still very Q not overcooked too. Chicken is very soft not tough the sauce is nice too but their chilli not spicy. Overall good and worth to Q!

I love to eat tang yuan and whenever I am at Beach Road market I will always think of having Ah Balling as dessert after meal! I ordered 4 and mix with Peanut, Sesame and Yam with peanut soup. Not too sweet which is my liking peanut was very soft and love munching it. Tang yuan was very Q and love the oozing out if the peanut and sesame when I bite it for yam it doesn't ooze out but still is very yummy!

Goh had their ginger soup and I had a try on it .... to me is a bit too spicy for me still i prefer the peanut soup!

I have a sudden craving of having fishball noodle and 1st come to my mind is Tong Seng which the first I thought of! Love to eat this fishball noodle very much .... Papa always buy this for me so I have eaten this fishball noodle for more than 15 years!

They use to have $2.50 and $3 option ...$3 option was given half of pacific clam but now they left only $3 option and no more pacific clam. I opt for all fishball and fishcake while Goh had all mixed which include pork and liver.

Fishball and fishcake was very Q and I opt for mee pok .... mee pok was not overcooked still have the Q feel .... as for the liver Goh commented it was not overcooked as well and pork was very tender good combination!

They are closed on every Friday and Sunday!
