Nam Nam Lunch Set Smile Aug 01, 2013
Categories : Vietnamese

The place is usually quite packed during lunch hours, so remember to go earlier prevent from queuing. I ordered the Nam Nam lunch set, which consists of pho beef, southern rolls and iced coffee. The beef were soft and tender and it was perfect match to go along with the pho. The southern roll were filled with shrimp and herb gives me a very refreshing feel as well. The lunch set only cost $9.90 and there is no GST or service charge included! I will definitely come back again for the lunch set, if I'm looking for meal below $10.

$2 Carrot Cake Smile Aug 01, 2013

Whenever I had a craving for carrot cake, I will always think of Chey Sua carrot cake. What's so different about them is that their carrot cake is made from scratch. I like the way which it is served in a large chunk which is similar to the concept of a pancake. The outer layer is pan-fried till crispy while it is soft and moist in the inside. Lastly, this plate of carrot cake only costs $2.

Located at 100AM, it can be easily access by the nearest mrt station at Tanjong Pagar. They offered a variety of matcha product such as tea, latte, ice blend, ice cream, shave ice, parfait and etc. I ordered a matcha shiratama parfait, its filled with rich matcha ice cream, japanese mochi and akazuki bean paste. Overall, I find it is one of best matcha parfaits that I had try before.

There are a few simple steps to order then bun. Firstly, choose either Karaage Crispy Chicken or Fish Fillet, followed by the type of bun and sauce. You can also add in a few more dollars to make it complete set, which will include the bun, fries and drinks. If you are not a fan of savoury items, you can try bun served with gelato as well. Follow their Instagram or like their Facebook page to get a free upgrade to cheese fries!
