Eclair Set Smile Aug 16, 2013

Categories : French | Fusion | Bakery

Maison Kayser is a nice place for me to chill in the late afternoon. I had their eclair set, which was one of their best selling pastries. I choose the coffee eclair and a cup of hot chocolate to go with it. The length of the eclair was around 15cm and it was filled with rich and creamy coffee cream. I find that the pricing was reasonable, as the the eclair has made my money worth, thus I will be coming back to try their other eclair soon.

BBQ Pork Bun OK Aug 16, 2013

Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Restaurant | Dim Sum | Noodles | Kids-Friendly

I'm sure everyone has heard of the famous 1 michelin star Tim Ho Wan restaurant. I find that this restaurant is indeed overrated, as most of the dim sum taste average to me. However, their BBQ pork bun is something to raved about, the out layer was hot and crispy and the filling was filled with sweet char siew. Overall for such average standard, I don't find it worthy for the queue.

Chocolate Chip Cream Frappuccino Smile Aug 16, 2013

Categories : American | Coffee

Decided to visit this new Starbucks after looking at the Facebook notification. I ordered a chocolate chip cream frappuccino instead of my usual coffee brew. I could taste the chocolate chip smell while sipping the drink, however it was not sweet enough for my liking. This could be an option for you, if you are not a coffee lover. The environment was very quiet and peaceful, and it definitely a good place to chill out.

Stuffed Pork Loin Smile Aug 16, 2013

Beside patronising the famous bar chor mee, Happy Chef western food is one of my favourite choice as well. Offering with more than 20 kinds of selection, I decided to go for one of their bestseller, which is the stuffed pork loin. I like the presentation of the dish as it show the crispiness of the pork wrapped around the ham and cheese. The cheese is definitely what make this dish stand out. Lastly, they do serve a generous serving for just $8.

Shiok Maki Smile Aug 14, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

After hearing all the recommendation and review, I'm finally here at town area to try out Koh Grill & Sushi Bar. I ordered their best seller which was the shiok maki, it is a sushi roll with lightly roasted salmon, charcoal grilled unagi, avocado served with generous serving of mayo and tobiko. Based on the attractive look itself, it has already tempted me, shiok maki was indeed very shiok as all the ingredient just blend well together. For around $16.80, I find that it is worth the effort and taste.
