Laksa Smile May 26, 2013

Super duper cheap $2.50 ONLY…….. big bowl with lots of ingredients that gets you craving for more. Best Laksa I tasted in Yishun area. Longggggggggg queue but soooo worth it lah~ *slurps*

A few fish cakes, lots of hum, half of a hard boiled egg, tau poks and lots of tasty soup! So cheap!

Ambience wise – no air-con so you might be sweating after a piping hot and spicy bowl of laksa. No worries though, take aways only cost $0.20 more and they would pack the soup in a plastic bag and the noodles in a container.

Set D – Cheese Toast! (MY FAVOURITE!)

I love to drink eggs and enjoy crispy bread with cheese and kaya to start my day. Filling and easy to eat!

Dunno how they make the bread until so crispy like biscuit texture but not biscuit……..

MEHHHH…. yummy!

Wild Honey Smile May 26, 2013

Initially, I was quite surprised when one of the staffs went “Mdm, no photography for our menus.” Wah I never go before a popular dining place that tells me no photography yet leh… wild honey, you’re the first.

One picture menu is available on an iPad at the counter, otherwise just read off their boards written in colourful chalks. No tangible menus for you to flip and be choosy about. Choose at the counter, pay and wait for your food to be served. Wah… like so authoritative. Note: the 10% service charge still applies.

Luckily my seat’s view not bad… still managed to capture the general feel of the breakfast/brunch restaurant. Sofa seat for me! “Wild honey, no place like home.” quite homely with the sofas around.

“TUNISIAN” signature, $18. For a bread lover, the crispy yet soft bread could easily satisfy one's craving. Spicy sizzling pan of tomato stew with pork sausage, eggs and toast. 7.5/10!

My “EUROPEAN” signature, $18. The very popular eggs benedict, eggs, mushroom, bacon. 9.5/10! The whole dish just melted in my mouth. Very good combination!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The eggs were splendid. SPLENDID. Creamy and thick. Mushrooms were enough although I don’t mind more, bacon wasn’t too salty, toast was a bit thick but generally okay for me. Thumbs up!

Overall acceptable but slightly overrated since the staff wasn't totally friendly, and food prices is steep.

Hearty Italian bread, my one and only favourite. With cheese and toasted = shiok!

Healthy to the max. Lots of vegetables and can always ask for more vegetables.

I like their $5 promotion, I think it's worth a healthy bread meal with a drink. I usually go for sweet onion / honey mustard / mayo as my sauces!

Modanyaki Smile May 26, 2013

Very fragrant and easy to eat noodles.

Flavourful and slightly salty though.

I love the cheese with egg noodles. The cheese was super stretchy and the mayo went so well with it!

It’s the mixture of all the sauces that made the noodles very appetising.
