I saw this leaflet from my letter box, so I decided to bring my family along to try. What attracted me was the leaflet stated '50% discount on total bill, no GST and service charge'.

We ordered the bee hoon, pratas and fried rice. The fried rice was very plain, don't really like it. Bee hoon is so-so but the taste is still not there. Prata is still acceptable. if I'm paying the normal price for this 3 dishes, I won't go back for another visit. Before the discount the bill came up to $14+, after the discount we paid $7+.

Ordered char siew raman, their soup base is a bit salty, char siew is sliced into very thin but still chewy not enough. ordered the fried chicken, not really very hot serving, very oily and a bit hard. The raman is so-so, not too soft. price wise is quite expensive. overall, waiting time is not long. Will reconsider again for revisit, I feel that this restaurant still has room for improvement.

When I went to Chinatown, I saw this very big bun. Out of curiosity, I decided to try out and bought one of the buns. Bought the pork with spring onions, another type of bun they have is the pork with long beans. But I'm not into long beans so decided to try out the spring onions one. They were selling at 1.50/pcs. The minced meat is too salty, not really nice. The bun skin is also too thick. Overall, I wont be back trying again.

dine with parents at food fare after their newly renovated food court. trying out their pork rib with black beans ($4.20) and one plate of vegetables ($2.80) with 2 bowls of white rice ($0.60 each). the pork rib is not really nice, quite hard and there is not really alot of meat. taste too salty for the sauce. the vegetables and mushroom taste hard and salty too. overall food is salty.

went to rivervale nearby and decided to try out this food park coffee shop. ordered mix vegetable rice; chicken, steam tofu egg with minced meat and cabbages. it is so expensive that it cost $3.40 for this plate, compared to those neighborhood coffee shop this is too expensive. and uncle only give 3 pieces of chicken. food is so so. overall, for the price it is not really worth it.
