So I patronised bedok point's yoshinoya with my friends after my camp, tired and hungry to get their teriyaki chicken bowl. Imagine how I felt when the I tasted the worst chicken bowl i had. The chicken was just so dry and they are quite stingy with their sauce which is the only passable thing in the whole set. It is my first (and last) visit They had really given me a bad first impression-hopefully this is not their usual standard . good thing that i was super tired and hungry or i would not have touched the bowl.

Had the famous star burger in Plaza sing's carl's Jr today.The famous star is surprisingly good.The burgers at plaza sing seems to taste better than those at NEX fr some reason.The beef patty is juicy CArl's jr has really lived up to its reputation for being a great calue for its money! There is also free flow of drinks at this outlet which is absent in the NEx outlet that i frequent. One thing i find lacking in this fast food restaurant is that the service is quite slow though- they take quite a long time to prepare your burger

Calling all those with a sweet tooth: Hoshino is a place to go to fix your sugar crush! My friend and I spent a wonderful time at hoshino. The ambience is just great for catching up as the place has a cozy feel! IF you like your coffee strong, you should try their signature dripped coffee. I love their pancakes too! They are just so soft and fluffy! the whipped butter complements it so well! I had their lobster spaghetti but found it to be so-so. This is truly a place for people who love their pancakes and coffee.

Finally got about to trying the famed tim ho wan dim sums. After tasting those dim sums, I saw why why were so widely acclaimed. They are amazing! Even though it is pricier than normal dim sums, it's quality makes up for the steep price. A must-have would be the BBQ buns. The BBQ pork is juicy and when eaten piping hot, it just kind of makes it taste so much better. The siew mai was average thogh but I loved the pork ribs and the pork live chee cheong fun. Definitely recommended if you can stand the wait

I just love dim sum! So it would not be surprising that I decided to patronize the famed swee choon dim sum. The dim sums were amazing. I loved their xiao long baos. I found the thickness of the skin to be just right unlike many xiao long baos i have had which are too thick. It is just amazing that the pork and soup just complements each other so well! I also had their famed custard buns. It was so-so as i did not see the wow factor that so many praised. Price wise, it as ok ( what do you expect dim sums to cost) Would recommend for dim-sum lovers
