Popeye's is my Achilles heel! Whenever I walk past the place, the smell itself would tempt me so much! My favorite is their classic 2 piece chicken meal with biscuit and mash potato. The chicken is fried till crispy perfection and was super juicy. Plus the portion is big so guaranteed fullness. Their mash potato is one of the best! The gravy is fantastic with the smooth mash and I would eat this on its own without any meal. Pair with a cool drink and you have a very (sinful) but good meal.

I couldn't resist ordering the Heart Attack Fried Rice when I read the name. It's so cute and catchy! It consists of slices of thick beef cooked to medium-well with some sticky black fried rice and pair with a really awesome sauce. The beef was slightly tough but still tastes good and the rice is very nice! I don't know what they coated it with but it's super fragrant and has a sticky texture to it. Order this to share as it is quite big. I think it should be enough for 2 girls or one very hungry guy. smile

Wonderful Place and Food Smile Jun 04, 2013

First thing you notice when you step into Lime is the ambiance. It's very ZEN like and soothing. The staffs are very friendly (notice they wear cute sneakers instead of serious work shoes) and we felt very welcome. There wasn't much of a crowd during lunch time on a weekday so it's a great place for a relaxing lunch. I ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich and it was delicious! They used Gruyère cheese which isn't too strong and melts it over the whole sandwich which has ham in it. Their fries are thick-cut style which I like and overall, a very satisfying meal. lol

Burger at 4 Fingers OK Jun 18, 2013

The queue at 4 Fingers is almost always horribly long so prepare to queue up for at least 15 mins. I ordered something different this time - the teriyaki chicken burger. It's not what I expected! They basically slice or shred the chicken and mix with this cold slaw with a slightly spicy and tart vinaigrette. The warm buns paired with the cold slaw was quite refreshing but there was HARDLY any chicken in it! I could barely taste a few bits so most of it was just slaw and bread. My fries was the kimchi fries but other than the bit of powder sprinkled over it, it wasn't fantastic.

Quiet Lunch Affair OK Jun 12, 2013

Met some friends for lunch and decided to eat at TCC as it was quiet and a good environment for chatting. I ordered the Tobiko Scallop Pasta with some soy sauce based gravy. It was decent. The gravy is a bit heavy after eating about half way through but I add some Tabasco sauce to give it some spice. The 3 scallops were a bit on the small side and I would've prefer them to be less "done" so they have that springy feel but overall it was not too bad.
