Popiah OK Aug 05, 2013
Categories : Coffeeshop

Ordered one popiah to give it a try as I always tend to try every stall that I came upon. Beside selling popiah, they do sell otah, satay and rojak. The taste is still alright, just that is abit of too wet as the skin won't stick together and broke easily perhaps is the skin too soft. As for their chilli is alright, is like Thai sweet chilli that they are using. Will try out their other dish soon.

Cost is $1.30

Glutinous rice Smile Aug 02, 2013

Categories : Hawker Centre

Decided to have something light for breakfast, ordered a chicken glutinous rice and a meat pao.

The lady is friendly when ordering and it was serve pitting hot. Taste for the both dish is good and most importantly is when the weather is cold and having a warm breakfast. They do sell other pao and dim sum too. The price is reasonable and affordable. Will come for it when i pass by.

Spending per head: Approximately $2(Breakfast)

Tom Yam Ban Mian  Smile Aug 02, 2013

Categories : Coffeeshop | Brunch

Ban mian is always been my favorite food. Happen to walk pass here with my colleague and have a quick lunch. Ordered a tom yam ban mian. Soup is good and it really resemble how thai cook their soup base. unlike other stall, they use the instant tom yam powder but as for this stall, they use lemon grass, chilli padi and onion which you can found it in your food too. Noodles is handmade and taste good. Ingredient will be like minced meat, xiao bai cai, egg and ikan bilis.

Will come back for it soon as i really love the soup base. smile

Since I was around this area, decide to have a quick lunch. My colleague recommends me this restaurant. Order you tiao, soya bean milk, carrot cake, fried spring onion pancake with egg and tea egg.
Soya bean milk

Soya bean milk

Soya bean is tasty and it blend in well if you eat together with you tiao.
You Tiao

You Tiao

You tiao is crispy and is not so oily and you have to eat it while is still piping hot.
Tea Egg

Tea Egg

Egg is perfectly delicious as it still have the tea fragrance and taste.
Carrot cake

Carrot cake

Carrot cake taste normal and is abit oily. you may choose to be added with egg. if not, they will just cook it like carrot pancake which is quite unique.
Fried Spring Onion pancake

Fried Spring Onion pancake

Spring onion pancake is delicious and is not oily at all. Is something similar to carrot cake, may add an egg.

Will come back to try on their dim sum one day.

Spending per head: Approximately $6(Lunch)

Duck rice OK Jul 10, 2013
Categories : Chinese | Food Court | Dim Sum

According to the stall name, it should be selling dim sum instead of duck rice. Perhaps they have ventured into rice business. I decided to give it a try, and ordered a plate of duck rice plus roasted meat. Rice is a bit hard to chew and needed to eat with the soup provided. As for the duck meat it is pretty well done but the portion that I was given was mostly bones and less meat. Roasted meat is tasty and when dipped in the chili sauce it tastes even better. Overall experience is still average.
