Comforting affordable dessert Smile Jun 28, 2013

The Rochor road beancurd is one of the places that I will usually visit once in a while for Taohuay craving. Love the beancurd here cause of its softness and freshness. What’s more they sell like You tiao (fried dough fritters), a must to accompany with Soy Bean or Bean Curd, Ham Chim Peng (Chinese Doughnut) and also Portuguese egg tart. Its abit oily but really tasty and delicious. Don’t think I will ever get tired of this place for its beancurd and its really comforting food. Definitely good for hangout with a group of friends. There are upstairs and downstairs seatings. If you find it too hot, you can sit upstairs to enjoy the air-condition.

Delicious cake Smile Jun 28, 2013

Went to this bakery as my colleague wanted to buy some Kueh for his wife as is famous for traditional kueh. The moment I walked in, this cupcake caught my eyes and I bought it to give it a try. It tastes delicious and I never know that once it added with cream and it tastes perfect. I'm not a cupcake fan. It combines of strawberry cream and on top of it add with cherry. Understand from my colleague that they will come out with different cupcakes each day. Look forward for it.

Breakfast OK Jun 28, 2013

Decided to give it a try since the other stall is close for today. I order mee and additional with bean curd and egg. The noodles taste alright just that a bit too dry and oily. As for bean curd is perfectly taste ok, as for the egg is oily but is still within acceptable. As for the chilli is not too spicy so it will be perfect for those who don't eat too spicy. Overall, the serving portion is little and it will be good that they could revise in the serving portion.

Thai Food  Smile Jun 28, 2013

This is a Thai Food outlet chain. They have a few other branches. What I like about the food here is that it is authentic Thai food. Cooked and served by Authentic Thai. They have many affordable set dishes as well which comes with a small drink and dessert. I ordered the small tom yum soup with 2 fried chicken wrapped in pandan leave. I love the Tom Yum soup here cause it is cook with generous amount of lemon grass. Also, it is not too spicy for me. I think cause there is a tinge of tomato base, therefore a tinge of sweetness in the soup and spiciness was just right. As for the crispy chicken, it was really fragrant and crispy, perhaps cause it was cooked with pandan. smile

Shui Kueh Smile Jun 28, 2013

Been always wanting to try out this stall Shui Kueh. I ordered 4 pieces of it and I wanted to have some light breakfast. The auntie is friendly and is fast in serving your order. Shui Kueh tastes fantastic as it reminds me of my childhood when I have it during primary school times. The chilli blends well with shui kueh and is not too spicy but is a bit of oily. Guess once in a while doesn't seems too bad. tongue
