Went for lunch to this very traditional Hokkien Cuisine. These traditional food is becoming a rare gem in Singapore. The food is still excellent and is one of the remaining restaurant that is true to its traditional excellence. The Hokkien Mee, Oyster Omelette, Fish Maw soap, the Sea cucumber, and the duck salad are still great. The Yam Dessert is great.

The price is slightly higher than other popular/famous traditional Hokkien food, but worth it.

We went to Geylang Claypot and the place is worth the wait as the claypot is cooked from scratch. The place is very unassuming and has the old charm. However, the place is very clean and comfortable. The tables are nicely spreadout. The claypot is really great. There are many great dishes like the Pork Rib and the Long Beans. The pumpkin clayfish is also very creative and good. This is truly quality food. Check out their web site and they will tell you where to park and how to order in advance. It helps.

Discovered this restaurant and tried it last week. The dish creation are interesting and food is of good quality and at the right price for regular visits. The service is excellent and is important for restaurants which tries to create new dishes regularly. They take good feedback and regular surprise their regulars.
