curry rice sunday! OK Nov 15, 2013

This curry rice was overall too salty. But it was still nice. The pork cutlet was crispy but abit too hard. The cabbage was a little bitter and the meat ball lacked the strong meat taste that I like. But the curry was acceptable, although not the best I have tried, but it is still nice as the gravy they gave was generous and made my rice really soft and palatable. Yummm
This shop is located at a hawker centre, but the design of this hawker centre somehow attracts many pigeons to come. So it was rather annoying I had to defend my food. The uncle and auntie were very nice in serving and I really liked the old style shopfront that they had.

Mmmmmm my bulgogi. This bulgogi although not as nice as the one in Korea, its the best I have tasted in Singapore. The meat is juicy and has a sweet flavour. The are really generous with the meat and the rice is an awesome fit. The onions are not overpowering but complimentary. The seaweed soup is abit salty, but overall nice to end the meal. Their anchovies are sweet! But not crunchy enough. The kimchi is mmmmmm nice.

This shop is located at u town. And its a nice locaation. The shop itself is clean, and the way to queue is nice as well, like we just gonn take the tray and eat from the canteen. The service is good and friendly. We can choose to sit indoors with aircon or outdoors without which is good

The asari clam pasta soup. This is really good for thus price. The soup is not too salty, and the mushrooms inside was a good complementary to the clams.. although it was only $6, but the clam serving was generous! The spaghetti was a little hard though but overall it is a very nice dish.

The panna cotta was delicious. But the sauce was a bit too sweet and the body was too firm with too much vanilla taste. But it was still a good way to end the meal. It costs 4.90.

Salted caramel mocha & swiss chocolate custard danish. The salted caramel mocha frappe was totally awesome. The salted crystals that were sprinkled on the whipped cream totally matched the frappe. Today's whipped cream was mediocre. Tasted a little bland, but the caramel made up for it. The danish was so-so. The chocolate was too smashed for me. The swiss chocolate was too rough. The pastry was not fluffy enough.

Branch duck rice! Smile Oct 15, 2013

This duck rice in Kovan is forever long queue! But you know why? The skin of the duck is really crisp, and the meat is juicy (not like the dry kind) the only drawback for me was that the duck that I had had bones in there. The sauce that was on the duck rice was appropriate but little.

The service was alright, although she gave a stern face but j guess she was tired. The place was rather crowded but we managed to get a clean place rather quickly.
