Chocolate ice cream Smile Nov 19, 2013
Categories : Desserts and Cakes | Ice Cream and Gelato

Awfully chocolate star item to me would be its hei ice cream. Thick and luscious spoonfuls of chocolate ice cream that is velvety and full of chocolatey taste. Best to share as it may get rather jelat and sinful after a few spoons Would never fail to get a scoop or two of it when I am at Ion. Prices are also affordable as well. Love the chocolate truffle cubes as well as the cupcakes but nothing beats the ice cream. Lastly, the packaging is really adorable as well!

French food at affordable prices Smile Nov 19, 2013

Been to Saveur twice, once at Purvis street and the other time at FEP. For both times, we had to wait for close to an hour. Overall, although the place has been overhyped, i still feel that the food is really good and worth every penny, the prices are really too attractive. As we had a rather big group the first time we went, we ordered almost every item from the menu. The stand out dishes for me were the angel hair pasta with sakura shrimps, duck confit and beef bourguignon. Really love the potatoes that were accompanying the beef, ordered several additional servings of that to share. Would patronize them more if the queues were shorter/non peak periods.

Chock full of beans Smile Nov 19, 2013

Categories : Café

Chock full of beans is one of the many cafes in my to-go list and I decided to pay a visit on a Saturday evening as it was pretty near my place. Heard a lot about its latte art and affordable prices but as I had a rather sumptuous dinner at changi village prior, we only ordered some snacks and hot chocolate. The nachos with cheese dip was alright, nothing spectacular, they were rather generous with the cheese dip. ordered hot chocolate for myself and a personalized totoro latte art. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Apparently it is best to go at non peak hours if you like to request for a specific latte art, otherwise, the staff would do up a random one for you. Overall, nice atmosphere and experience. will re-visit for the brunch menu again.

Haato & Co  Smile Nov 19, 2013

Love chilling around this area while chatting with friends and people watching. Eating Haato and co ice cream while doing that is just like icing on top of the cake. Love the green tea ice cream over here, not so sweet that makes you want to stop eating after a few spoonfuls, there is a subtle fragrance of the green tea aroma topped with just the right amount of milky taste, really awesome. Will definitely return again. Prices are pretty affordable based on the quality as well.

Ikea Tampines Smile Sep 13, 2013

Categories : Western Variety | Kids-Friendly

I love going to IKEA not for the home furnishing purposes but to have a feast at the criteria, i am sure many share the same sentiments. My order would be pretty standard every trip: meatballs, chicken wings, mushroom soup and smoked salmon followed by the $1 hot dog and soft serve ice cream before leaving. I feel that the standard of food is pretty consistent and i really love the chicken wings especially, flavorful and crispy. A good place for a family dinner/snack.
