Having heard of Covelli Italian Bistro & Wine Bar from my colleagues, I decided to host my boyfriend's birthday celebration over at Covelli. Being located at a rather quiet section in orchard central, tucked nicely at one corner, Covelli had a very lovely ambience for their guests, and especially good for dating ;)We ordered chicken bread stuffing as our appetizer, which was quite good (I liked the sauce).
Our mains - Wild Mushroom Ravioli and Pasta Al Pesto Gamberi were absolutely delicious and to our liking! The richness of the ravioli cream sauce and strong flavours from the pesto gamberi was unbelievable. Thumbs up!!And my favourite dish of all was the dessert - Profiterole!!! It was so good, I almost wanted to go for a second round Intending to spring a surprise for my boyfriend, I had initially asked the staff to help me bring over a mini birthday cake that I had bought from Rive Gauche. To my amazement, and great compliments to the service from Covelli, their staff spend the extra effort to decorate the plated cake into one that is so beautiful! And their staff were all very friendly and quick to respond to any of our needs. Thumbs up on their service!!

On the whole, excellent food and service at this particular restaurant! Absolutely love the place - its ambience, food, staff and will definitely return there as one of their regular customers.

My boyfriend brought me to equinox to for my birthday to see the view and some fine dining. Boy am I blown away by the awesome view of the city from the 70th floor. With a lovely ambience, equinox is one of the fine dining places that looks upon the whole city and the night city lights. Absolutely stunning. We decided to order the 5 course meal ($158/pax). Out of the 5, my favourite was the baramudi with soft shell crab - soft, smooth and very tasty; and the chocolate cake which goes very well with the passionfruit at the sides.

I have been to Din Tai Fung many times as it is one of my usual dining places (due to my love for chinese food and dim sums). What I like most about Din Tai Fung is that they will occasionally add new items on their menu, and I wouldn't get bored of them. We ordered our usual (one noodle dish and one fried rice) and tried one of the new items - smoked duck spring roll (the small plate in the center). IT WAS SO SO GOOD!!!

At The Line at Shangri-La Hotel, it is well-known for its buffet. With a wide variety of food ranging from seafood to asian delights to western to desserts. There's so many types of food that you can't really finish trying them all! And since it was a buffet I didn't really snap much pictures, just only those that I love.

Firstly, guess what? They serve lobsters that are large and very very fresh! Sweet and juicy just how I like it And back to the dessert fanatic self, I took a pinch of almost all their desserts and they are very good! Especially all those in the tiny cups!Do come and try The Line buffet, it is around $50 per pax (considered quite pricey but worth the money).

Took my friend to Nando's for dinner as this was her first time eating there. We both decided to try Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken with different sides (mine with spicy rice & chips while my friend ordered spinach). We opt for HOT as the level of hotness of our peri peri sauce. It was delicious!!! Tender chicken, fragrant rice, crisp fries and a lingering peri peri taste that excites the senses Would love to go back there and order peri peri chicken again even though their service isn't that excellent due to a large amount of waiting i.e. for them to refill water, get utensils etc.
