Was quite crowded when we went Sushi Express, we queued for about 40mins before getting in. For $1.50 per item, the food is very worth it, especially for premium items like the salmon sashimi, scallop and abalone-like slices. The salmon sashimi is fresh and tender despite its price, I felt it's even comparable to some Japanese restaurants. The scallops were also very fresh and sweet. I especially like the abalone-like slices, the mayonnaise on top made it even more tasty! Overall enjoyed dining here despite the long wait!

Ikea cafe is most well known for its meatballs! They had a recent change of recipe, I felt that the original meatballs tasted better. Nevertheless, the meatballs are still the best in town! Very soft and tasty, the sauce brings out an even better taste of the meatballs. I like the side jam, gives a sweet tinge of taste to the meatballs. The chicken wings served there are great too! Very crispy, but can get a little oily at times. I also like the salmon fillet and smoked salmon slices, both very soft and fresh. Dont really like the side beans that come with the salmon fillet though. The chicken thigh is good, very soft and tender! Restaurant is always very crowded at dining hours, so be prepared to spend some time looking for seats.

This place is widely known for its own rendition of meesua. The herbal soup is very thick, meesua is very soft. I like the mixed one, which has the pork kidney, liver and pork meat inside. Especially like the kidney, it's cooked just nice, to the right texture and softness. They also serve good crab bee hoon, one of the better ones I've had. The bee hoon is very tasty, and there's quite a lot of crab served. We also had the clams, very tasty too. For garlic haters, the chef added quite alot of garlic to get rid of the clam smell. The egg and the veggie tasted ordinary to other zi char stalls. The drinks stall also sells soya beancurd, I like the original flavour. They also sell the almond flavoured one. I'm not a fan of almonds but my friend who likes almonds gave quite a good review for it.

Place was very crowded when we reached but the staff was very nice, she opened up a table at the outside of the restaurant for us. We had a few dishes to share. The chicken fried rice smells especially good, and the taste certainly does the smell justice. It's one of the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. We had sambal kangkong, which tastes quite similar to any other kangkongs, nothing ordinary. The spring rolls were very crispy, I liked the sauce that came along with it. Tastes sweet and brings out the taste of the spring rolls. Had the crispy golden mushroom, the cook fried it well. We like it as it didn't taste oily. One of the must go thai restaurants! P/S: Restaurant closes after lunch hours and opens again for dinner, so be sure to check the opening hours before visiting!

Passed by this place and settled for lunch here. They had a few set lunches which come with a main meal, drink and fruits, and price range is between $6.50-$9. I had the curry chicken set with rice. The curry was a little blend, might not be appealing to spicy curry lovers. They served drumstick/thigh meat for their curry set, hence the meat was very tender. I also had a soup to go, cost just $2 and it's very yummy. My friend had the claypot chicken rice set, I liked it better than the curry set. It smelled very good, and the chicken meat was tender too. It does not have the normal burnt smell of claypot rice too. Will recommend the claypot chicken!
