Went to The Royal Mail for a birthday celebration. We ordered the Blue Swimmer Crab & Avocado for starters. It came in quite a small serving, but was really yummy! The use of ingredients was good, I like the mixture of the crab meat with the roe, which burst in the mouth. Could taste that the crab was very fresh. I ordered a Roast Prime Rib Classic Cut medium rare, it was cooked to a great perfection. The steak was soft and tender, and I like the sauce on the steak. There were some side dishes which came with the steak, I like the mashed potato which has a unique sauce and goes pretty well with it. Will really recommend the steak here!c For the price we paid, it was really worth it as the service was top notch, ambience was perfect, and the steaks ain't really expensive for the quality.

Temaki Bento Set
Megumi is a small Japanese restaurant in the Siglap area. The Temaki Bento Set is my favourite there as the set comes complete with 3 Temaki handrolls (California, Soft Shell Crab, Cucumber), a generous portion of sashimi, salad, miso soup and Chawanmushi, for only 20.90. Another dish I like is their Chicken Hot Stone Bowl, which is somewhat similar to claypot rice only served in a hot stone bowl with chicken, chestnuts, ginko nuts and mushrooms. It is exceptionally flavorful. Recommended Dish(es):

Breakfast Set (comes with tea, coffee or juice)
This is probably one of the most affordable brunch places around, yet equally tasty and flavorful, with nice food presentation and restaurant ambiance. The breakfast set was especially value for money. For 10.90, the meal came complete with a choice or either, coffee, tea or juice. Both meals also, came with pancakes which could be eaten with chocolate sauce, maple syrup, and jam. I just loved the chocolate sauce on my pancakes. I would definitely go back to Eggs and Berries again!! Recommended Dish(es):

Had a big group dinner and decided on Fika Swedish Cafe as it's Halal. I had the Aglio Olio and topped it up with their Swedish Homemade Meatballs. The pasta was very fragrant and I like the very garlicky and spicy taste. The meatballs are huge, much larger than those at Ikea. It tastes similar to the Ikea meatballs, but meatier. The pasta is a little dry, I felt that there wasn't enough olive oil added. I tried my friend's grilled crayfish pasta, it's yummy! The sauce went very well with the pasta. However, there wasn't much crayfish meat. If you're looking for somewhere different with Swedish food (other than Ikea), this is the restaurant to go!

Garden Slug is located at quite an inconvenient location, restaurant wasn't too crowded when we reached on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the recommended All Day Big Breakfast, and yes, it's really big with all the food items. The sauteed mushrooms is really good, very juicy and tasty. I also like the scrambled egg, not too dry and very delicious. Other than that, the other items were quite ordinary like in other brunch restaurants. Didn't really like the bread as it was quite hard. My friend had the other recommended item, the ugly salmon cakes. It's mainly mashed potato with salmon bits and onion bits inside. My friend didn't enjoy it as she's not a fan of onions and the menu didn't state that there was onions inside. Despite so, the mashed potato tasted good with the salmon bits. All in all, it's an ordinary brunch restaurant.
