Atsuage Tofu
Atsuage Tofu
The tofu was fragrant and had very crispy outer skin and no excess oil dripping. I like the generous amount of bonito flakes here
Sashimi Caesar Salad
Sashimi Salad
There were cubes of tuna and salmon sashimi, crispy bread chunks and lettuce in the salad. The sauce for the salad had wasabi and yuzu in it, resulting in a flavour so refreshing, every bit and drop was slurped up

Beef Shabu Shabu (2 paxs)
Beef Shabu Shabu
There is no ajinomoto in this japanese hot pot dish and they used NZ beef.
Ribeye Yakiniku (BBQ)
Ribeye Yakiniku
This was my most preferred dish among the list of food being served. The beef was juicy, tender and well marinated. Grilling was fun, took only a few minutes (it also depends how cooked you want your red meat to be)
Carbonara Udon
Carbonara Udon
This dish uses udon instead of the usual pasta, with a beautiful (and delicious) sunny-side up, bacon and strips of kani. Taste was a rich and creamy texture. It is rather filling because of that. Personally i like udon and it was refreshingly pleasant to eat it in this manner. Also, the udon for this dish is made daily.
Kinoko Pizza
Kinoko Pizza
A lot of bonito flakes on this pizza as can be seen. They used enoki, shiitake and shimeji mushrooms for the pizza topping. They used japanese mayo with tonkatsu sauce here.
N.Z Beef Rib
NZ Beef Rib
This is supposed to be for only 1 pax. But i seriously suspect that they actually meant breakfast+lunch+dinner for 1 pax. The serving was huge
for the main item (beef rib) and the 2 sides (coleslaw & potato wedges). Tender and mildly fat red meat. The beef was cooked over slow fire according to the chef.
