I love their peanut soup with the tang yuan, they used higher grade peanuts i think, the soup is very fragrant with the tang yuan, the all-time favourite for us. the peanuts are cooked to well done, not easy to cook until so fragrant and with correct level of sweetness, tang yuan size is just good for the peanut soup, taste nice too. will go back eat again , for the price of $1.70, it is cheap and good.

Their chilli mee is the only one in Singapore. Love their chilli so much with a bit of satay taste, don't know why. Their portion very generous with ribs, prawns, fish cake, tau pok and egg added with lots of chilli for $3, their soup also very tasty with prawn and ribs. i like this stall very much, got to be patient with them and nice food are meant to be waited. Their chilli indeed are unique and nice.

Their specialty is dry bak kut teh (with cuttlefish, ladyfingers, pork belly) $7, we order tau kee $3, you tiao $1.50 and groundnuts $2.50,pork ribs soup, and pork meat mee sua, their tau kee and you tiao nice , worth to eat, groundnuts a bit too hard, not boil long enough, pork ribs a lot and very tender and pork meat mee suan taste nice too. Dry bak kut teh so so only, only different is the black sweet sauce, a bit too expensive, won't order that one next time. Love the pork ribs soup (not that peppery but very fragrant pork ribs taste)very much, they keep refilling the soup, love their generosity of refilling, even though mee sua ordered, they also refill the soup. Pork ribs soup is worth to order costing $6. Tea nothing special, very normal.

I ordered their egg omelette and mixed fish (fried and sliced fish) tom yum soup, their ingredients are very fresh and for the price of $3.50, with so much fish and tomato and tofu, the soup is rich, spicy with the spices too, it is one of the best i ever eat, i like the tom yum soup right away, omelette is nice too, next time shall go back try their clear tom yum soup. there are a lot of choices for tom yum soup. for tom yum soup lovers, you should go down and try, much better than any restaurant one. cheap and good.

I like the environment of this place so much, reminds us of the old 60s and 70s, love their desserts too, used very fresh ingredients and very sweet and nice, effort is put into decorating the whole place with an antique feel, iceballs that our parents eat in their times, simply love it so much, saw a lot of uncles, aunties, grandma, grandpa there,i think should bring them there to reiminiase the old times, i will go back again for their food. love their decoration a lot with the antique things, even toilet is antique with metal doors.
