My all-time favourite porridge in Kovan hawker centre, i love their lean meat with century egg with their you tiao, the porridge is full of ingredients and very fresh you tiao, you can prefer it to be cut or whole you tiao, you can add an egg 50cents more to your porridge, to me , original taste is fragrant enough, their porridge is cooked just right, with full of fresh ingredients, we love it very much, cheap and nice quality, you can also opt for their other porridge , just as good. Quality of this porridge is good which i can't get it elsewhere, you tiao seem to be handmade themselves, very addictive and fresh too. highly recommended for porridge lovers.

I am curious at why there are so many orders to this stall for hokkien mee, i decide to try it after observing, it is run by a couple, uncle is friendly, when i order it, auntie cook it slowly , i am standing waiting for quite some time until i get my plate of hokkien mee, when i eat it, i know why, the noodles taste just right with the rich soup base with so much sotong, lean meat , egg on it, taste very fragrant, i put a stint of chilli to it, taste so nice with it, now i understand why auntie let me wait and nice food are meant to be waited. Indeed one of the best hokkien mee i ever eat, very fragrant and nice. The stall also sells char keow teow and prawn noodles too.

I saw this shop being introduced on TV. So I decided to go and try their handmade Taiwan pastries, their yam pastries are really delicious and so full of yam, not so sweet, I love it so much after eating.

Their sun biscuits have a soft crust and not so sweet fillings, very fragrant too, we love the pastries so much, for a price of $2 each, it is considered reasonable as all are handmade, nougats are given free to us too, it is also nice, we would go back buy again if got chance.

Coconut tu tu cake

Peanut tu tu cake

5 tu tu for $3

Saw it on tv , decide to check it out, love the coconut tu tu so much, gula melaka with coconut with special handmade flour, taste very different from outside, the flour is not fine, but small bits type, a kind of feelings that makes eating tu tu very nice to bite and eat, consider handmade at 60 cents each, it is cheap with rich filings, peanut tu tu cake so so only, not so fantastic. coconut tu tu taste will stay in your mouth for some time, feel good, i don't mind to go back and buy if i pass by there again, a good recommendation for tu tu lovers, this taste you can't find it elsewhere, superb. : )
