Fried Kway Teow Smile Nov 21, 2013

Categories : Singaporean | Chinese | Food Court | Noodles

After a complete shopping spree, me and my friend were really hungry. So we went to Koufu restaurant at the Rivervale Plaza and bought Fried Kway Teow. The stall was crowded that brought the feeling that the food served there should be really good. They serve Prawn Noodle and Carrots Cakes as well. The Fried Kway Teow was priced at $4 and I really liked the taste. It took me about 20 minutes to get my order but it was worth it. They serve a bigger portion that came along with fish cake and cockles.

Fried Bee Hon Mee OK Nov 20, 2013
Categories : Indonesian | Restaurant | Halal | Rice

I wanted to have my breakfast for my work went to Chumpo restaurant in Rivervale Plaza. It is a Halal restaurant that offers breakfast options like toast set, nasi Padang, chicken rice and much more. I went for their less priced Fried Bee Hon Mee noodle. It costs $2. The lady’s finger served appeared to be old. The noodle was fine but a bit oily. Next time will try out others food. Anyway the service crew was quite friendly.

Laksa OK Nov 24, 2013   (Related Review)

The Laksa is well presented and looks appealing and attractive. I found the taste to be normal but it is quite too spicy for my taste. It will be apt for people who like to have spicy food items. The soup is thick and creamy and has a tofu, fish balls and fish cakes added to it. I can turn out to be the best option for those of them who like to have a really hot and spicy flavor. It can taste better when warm.

Fried Crab Stick OK Nov 20, 2013
Categories : Vegetarian

I tried Happy Crispy Veg in Rivervale Plaza newly open. Bought their crab stick for dinner, I found some good amount of bean sprouts, carrot strips along with crab stick and it was mixed perfectly. I found it to be cold at the first bite but the outer portion was crispy and the inner portion was fluffy. It had a nice taste but it is not a healthy food. Overall taste is good but a bit oily.

Nasi Lemak OK Nov 15, 2013
Categories : Indian

Nasi Lemak is liked by people who prefer flavor and taste in their rice. The coconut milk cooked rice is its highlight and so I went for it. It tasted okay for me. It was too spicy that it could burn your tongue and the chicken in it was not bad and just fine. The rice was little harder which made it difficult to eat. Served along with some cucumber pieces and sauce. Nothing great in flavor or taste and costs $5.
