Krispy Kreme OK Nov 20, 2013
Categories : American | Bakery

Recently, I heard about a new food outlet called Krispykreme has opened up in Tangs Orchard Basement and so I wanted to try out the special items there. The original glazed and red velvet are the two most promoted dishes there and so I tried them. The food items were too sweet for my taste and what is more difficult is that I had to wait for about 30 minutes in queue which I definitely do not want to do again. The original glazed priced at $2.60, red velvet at $2.95 and the powdered strawberry fill costs $2.95.

French Cuisine Smile Nov 20, 2013

Poulet is a new restaurant located in the Chinatown point that offers French casual dining facility. I ordered a plate of Poulet Roasted Chicken which was soft, tender and well-marinated. It comes with a mushroom sauce that goes well with the chicken and gives a creamy taste. The mushroom poached egg dish can be taken as an appetizer and turned out to be a bit oily. Oxtail De Burguignon is one of the best items they serve which stands out from the traditional Beef Bourguignon as it uses beef oxtail instead of beef ribs or beef brisket. The beef is perfectly cooked. French Onion Soup is a traditional one that has onions stewed till soft in a rich and savory beef broth. Had a great dining experience here and loved the food.lollol

Famous dim sum Smile Nov 20, 2013

Tim Ho Wan is one restaurant I wanted to go and finally tried it. To my surprise, its dishes are good and tasty in every way. I liked their BBQ pork buns much as the outer layer is crispy while the inside of it has the piping hot sweet char siew. It is a tasty, flavorful food that needs to be eaten when it’s hot. The Spring roll with egg white tasted crispy and good as well. The Pork Dumpling with Shrimp, also called Siew Mai. It was crunchy with soft, juicy shrimp over it. I loved the Spinach Dumpling which is a right combination of sweet and salty flavor.

I wanted to go for the Turkey and Ham from Subway located in Bishan area for a long time and when the chance came, I ordered italian bread with Turkey & Ham. I should say that I was satisfied with its taste and presentation. It had vegetables like cabbage and cucumber that were fresh and nice. It was served along with Mayonnaise and ketchup sauce that added even more taste. Overall, it was good and l liked it.

Soya Milk is looked upon as healthy item always and it is one of my favorite drinks which I have quite frequently. I ordered soya milk from Mr. Bean, a newly opened store found at the Rivervale Plaza. The soya was strong in it and it was not so sweet as well.smile I like to have it warm. They also selling pancake that is found available in different flavors. Overall, it one place that I would go again.tongue
