Cookie cookie OK Feb 22, 2014

Famous amos cookie, is always one of my top choices for x'mas present and birthday present. They are many selections of cute and nice boxes, and metal tin for the cookie. The Oatmeal rasin and cinnamon cookies taste sweet, but it is VERY hard, so not recommended. I like their chocolate chip with pecan... it is fragrant and rice in chocolate. And it always attracts me, as the aroma of them baking the cookie is tempting!

I seldom eat western food, as I find it normal and expensive in restaurant. I rather splurge on my favourite dim sum, Korean and jap food. But Astons is a exception, as the food is affordable. I always order their chicken with two sides, less than $10 NETT. The pepper chicken($7.90 Nett) n fried fish($8.50 Nett) taste nt bad. My bbq chicken taste too sweet.. i dont like la. I like the fries n rice.. I prefer cha grill chicken that taste just nice. I also like the baked potato too! Strongly recommended!

My favorite prawn noodles  Smile Dec 26, 2013

One of my favourite prawn noodles. It is $5 min, though it might seems expensive, but the size of the prawn, and the quality of the food, is definitely very worth the price. I ordered the $5 one today. The $8 one is better, as the prawn is bigger and more fresh... But the $5 is already quite good, the prawn is big.. I always ask the boss not to halved the prawn, as I find it more shiok to bite on a whole succulent prawn..

The soup is awesome, rich in prawn favour. Strongly recommended.

Used my $30 for $60 groupon. The har gao is nice, translucent skin with succulent prawn. All dim sum is quite good except the steam teochew dumpling with peanut in it..

The baked bbq bun is nice but quite small. Their signature teahouse chee cheong fun with scallop and prawn is very nice and special, there is a crispy layer covered by steam layer of the chee cheong fun... fried item is not bad too.. Hot and fresh.

Braised efu noodles with abalone sauce.. I like the veg, I like this simple dish.. S $14...

S $18. Prawn and glass noodles claypot.. tasty but as they halved the prawn so it is not so nice.. would prefer to ask not to halved the prawn.. nicer to eat whole prawn.. The glass noodles abit dry and some stick to the claypot.

Spending per head: Approximately $16(Lunch)

Yummy ramen!  Smile Nov 24, 2013

I like their seafood ramen.. milky base and not too salty. Their cha siew ramen is too salty and the cha siew is too lean. Instead I like the soup of their seafood ramen, but sadly there is no prawns in it. The crayfish ramen taste rich, but quite oily. I like the side too, the fresh and crunchy prawn, though it is quite small.

Service wise is reasonable. I still prefer marutama ramen that the noodles is springy and nice.
