I was here for a few times, the buffet used to be ala carte order, you can order from the menu and the waiter will bring your food to you but now they have changed to self service, the food are laid out in front at the buffet counter and you can take whatever you want but they are not replenished fast enough upon finished. They used to have some free mains which can be ordered once per person too such as the seafood kimchi soup, cold noodle too but not available anymore.Food and service is normal, nothing to rave about.

90 cents chicken wings OK Jan 17, 2014

This sister cafe is just beside Pine Garden and you can also buy slices of cakes from Pine garden and bring it over here to enjoy with your meal. They have an ongoing promotion where you can get drinks at 50 percent off here if you purchase any cakes from Pine Garden.I ordered the plate of fish and chips for about $7 and it tasted really normal. The chicken wings which are on promotion at just 90cents each is a better deal as they are big and juicy.

After dinner,i was browsing around when hot star caught my eyes. They have various flavours for their chicken cutlet as well as their fries-original,seaweed,plum,garlic etc. After some thoughts,I ordered a piece of garlic flavored chicken cutlet, and the price for it was about $4.50. I was really tempted to try their seaweed fries but as i was still feeling full from dinner i only got the chicken cutlet.I waited for about 10 minutes for my chicken cutlet and was quite disappointed with the taste as the chicken was overdone,it could have been fried for abit too long as it was dry.I was expecting it to be juicy and tender like the ones i tried at other outlets.

I love drinking bubble teas and i could mot resist a cuppa whenever i pass by Gong cha.Craving for something different,i ordered the iced peach tea with konjac jelly to try. They do have promotion from time to time and was entitled 15 percent discount off their drinks for watsons card member which was a good deal. The peach tea was abit too sweet for me even though i chose less sugar,i had to add in extra plain water to even out the sweetness. The konjac jelly was joyful to chew and eat.

Sweet desserts OK Jan 14, 2014

Categories : Singaporean | Food Court | Desserts and Cakes

There was a wide variety of dessert here, there is something for everyone be it hot or cold. My friend had the hot cheng teng and she says it was abit too sweet for her. I ordered banana split ice cream and mango ice.The banana could taste better if it was more ripe, the ice scream tasted standard too.I like the mango ice as the mango toppings tasted naturally sweet,it brightened my tastebuds and mood.
