Good:
- Delicious and flavourful pasta
- Tasty and wide variety of ice cream flavours
- Self-service iced water at the side

Not-so-good:
- Shortage of service staff makes getting their attention difficult at times
- Shortage of parking around that area. May have to park over at the nearby mall and walk 5-10min to the cafe

Overall:
The food taste good. That is what brings the crowd over to the cafe time after time! Would recommend to friends!

Cosy lunch on a lazy Sunday Smile Mar 02, 2014

Categories : Café

Good:
- Beautifully decorated cafe! Cutesy-themed with mainly white-based decorations make the whole place look cosy and sweet.
- Seats were not too closely spaced so you get your privacy with your date still.
- Comfortable sofas present for those who prefer to sip their coffee for prolonged period of time with their friends.
- Excellent food that leaves you wanting for more! The Scallop Aglio Spaghetti and Carbonara Spaghetti is cooked to perfection. Deliciously!

Not-so-good:
- Slightly above-average price as much cost probably went into decorating the cafe.
- More staff roaming around would lessen the time needed to get a waiter's attention.
- If you are too hungry or a big-eater, you may need more than just a plate of spaghetti.

Overall:
Food tastes excellent. Ambience is good with the decorations. Would definitely recommend to my friends! And would definitely return again in future!

Good:
- Wide variety of pastas to choose from!
- Taste good.

Bad:
- Some pastas are hard in texture, making it dry to swallow.

Overall:
The wide variety of pastas available means that you could return to eat again and again! Generally the pastas that I have eaten tasted good and worth the money. Will not hesitate to return again in the future. Will also recommend this place to friends!

Decided to try the new korean restaurant Bibigo at Suntec city mall. On my friday afternoon, the restaurant is almost full with many office people around. The restaurant is not too smoky and spacious with sufficient seatings.
We orered the Hotstone bibimbap and Spicy pork soup. Eager for the bibimbap, we were disappointed that it turned out less flavourful than we thought it would be. The sauce seemed insufficient and there was broccoli in it. Not quite the usual kind. I ordered hotstone because i had wanted the rice to turn out a little charred but it did not. The portion was not too big either. The only thing good was the marinated pork, which tasted perfect and totally addictive! The sauce on it was sweet and i would definitely order their meat set in future!
The spicy pork soup comes with a bowl of rice. It turned out less spicy than i though it would be. In fact, it was not spicy at all! The soup had tofu, pieces of pork strips and vegetable. Eaten with the rice, this dish is great! I almost wanted to order another bowl of their fragrant rice to finish up the remaining soup.
Complimentary water is available here and pricing is not too bad.

A traditional chinese restaurant along the shophouses in macpherson. One may think that it is a shabby restaurant from the outside. Although it isn't quite fanciful inside, my thoughts are that it is an old restaurant that have been around for ages, it markets itself as a premium restaurant like others.
To start off, prices aren't cheap. Most of the dishes range from $18 and above. The restaurant looks old and traditional. It has sufficient chinese staff, run by an Assistant Manager who seem a little pushy by the way she talks.
Moving on to the food, we ordered a plate of fried rice with chinese ham and salted egg. It took no more than 15 minutes for the food to arrive, but noting that there were just 2 tables occupied at the point in time. The rice smelled and tasted quite fragrant. Cooked with salted egg, we could taste the occasional pleasant saltiness of the egg with every mouthful of rice. The whole dish wasn't too salty to my surprise, which i am really glad. The only downside would be that i couldn't see any chinese ham.
We also ordered butter prawns with egg floss. The egg floss was crispy and nice as a sidedish. The prawn however, was too salty. Eating every piece feels good at the start with the butter fried taste, but ended up with a cringe on the face as it turned out to be too salty! The prawns are big and fresh but i guess they have marinated it too long with salt!!
An aircon restaurant with the usual peanuts and wet tissues, do remember to make reservations beforehand as apparently it is always full.
