FishBall Noodle Smile Aug 20, 2012

Categories : Teochew | Coffeeshop | Noodles

I frequent this stall many times already and often I will ordered a fishball noodle in soup because his broth is really good and tasty and without msg. He is consistent with the preparation of the noodle and never fail me so far. Another plus point is his sliced pork, they are very tender and not of any porky smell and the noodle is always at a QQ texture. ..............................

Nasi Padang Smile Aug 20, 2012

I always feel that malay nasi padang are expensive and with 1 meat and 2 veggies, it could cost up to $3.50 onwards. This stall has been pretty popular and they do sell mee siam and mee rebus besides nasi padang. I like their food especially their rendang, sambal brinjal and petai etc.Their portion of white rice is often alot but the quantity on the dishes is of a small amount. Oh by the way, their sambal belachan is really good.

Fish Soup Smile Aug 20, 2012

Besides savouring on other food, we also ordered from this stall the sliced fish soup with handmade noodle, something different apart from the usual sliced fish soup with rice or mee hoon. It was really nice and tasty and could taste the ikan bilis used for the broth and the sliced fish were fresh and springy. The portion was big and were thankful we shared our food.

Indian rojak Smile Aug 16, 2012

This stall was the main subject that we came by here to eat. My friends kept telling me to try and said that this stall is very popular. The queue was scaringly long but I thought I will try since came all the way here. Yes we waited around 30 minutes and thankfully we have other food to stuff our bellies first. The plate of rojak came pipping hot and it was really good and they have many varieties and there was this particular one with steamed peanuts and oats, wow! it was really nice!
The sauce was right with the rojak and our damage was $16 for this plate of rojak! All becos I added a small cuttlefish which cost $4!tongue

Minced Pork Noodle Smile Aug 16, 2012

I had a bowl of minced pork noodle all by myself evenythough upon agreeing to order an assortment of food from various stalls to share with my friends. I just can't keep my eyes away from the meatballs when I passed by this stall. I ordered a dried noodle and the taste was good, it was different from the usual ones and this one was with more black sauce added and less vinegar. Nice.
