Walking around the food street to search for small bites and found a few and this was one of them. Always love the way they marinated their meat, be it the chicken or pork. My usual is the chicken meatball and the pork with asparagus. Today I will try this item that is new to me which is the otoro pork in cubes and costs at $1.40.
It is very succulent because of the fats and I like it, it has a chewy texture and melt in your mouth.

Was glad to know Da Zhong Guo is here in Takashimaya and I need not to go all the way to Chinatown instead. I like a few of their biscuits which are old school and traditional and the taste still remain which is important.
I spotted one of my favourite which was the egg white cookies, the texture as though of half cake and half bread, simple yet fulfilling. They omitted the usual over powdered flour on the cookie which was good. I took 3 pieces at one go when I came home, just can't resist! Per pack of 4 at $2.40.

I couldn't resist the smell of the meat from the hot plate which was very inviting. There was a queue eventhough it was way over lunch time, I ordered the sliced steak with japanese curry. Actually the food was good even without the curry which I reckoned was a bit too sweet. The steak smelled wonderfully grilled and the texture was tender and the corn was well seasoned too and with everything mixed together, it was fabulous!

Besides the chicken(original flavor)meal set, we ordered also their popular mexicana burger. The chicken was so tender and juicy and there was a sauce with it which tasted liked mayonnaise and yet also tasted liked ranch sauce and there were nachos added to it that made the burger had different effect from softness to crunch. This set was the combo meal and it came with a soft drink and french fries at $7.60.

Our first time to Texas after their comeback. We were glad they were located here as I was actually craving for some fastfood and I had the 3 pieces meal set at $9.80. The chicken was good, seasoning was enough and even it went into the depth of the breast meat and the battered skin were crispy.
But the mashed potato was a disappointment as I felt the sauce had a weird taste and did not compliment well.
