Billy Bombers American Diner  Cry Jul 19, 2012

To be honest, the food here weren't fantastic at all. This explains the "no queue" even during peak hours. I had a plate of fried food namely tempura prawns, wedges and breaded chicken. There are some vegetables and baby carrots at the side too. The entire dish didn't look appetising at all. The prawns were a little hard and it wasn't too fresh in my opinion. The breaded chicken was fine, nothing to rave about and wedges was normal. All in all, it was just normal.

I had carbonara for the first time. There were lots of mushrooms in it. Ther entire dish was quite sourish and tasted weird. Wonder is it the problem with the mushroom or what. I find it a little weird to have shredded carrots at the top as garnishes. The bacon wasn't salty at all nor crispy. All in all, i find the entire dish was a failure. Service was great though and almost zero waiting time.

Sugar Granny Cafe Cry Jul 18, 2012

I was reluctant to order this in the first place as i was afraid it might taste and chew like rubber but itching for some fried stuff, i went for it. It was served in a basket with a thick piece of white paper at the bottom of it. I assume it should help to absorb oil. The calamari upon first bite was crispy and hot on the outside and chewy on the inside. In fact, it was too tough to chew on. Indeed tasted like rubber. It was pretty tastless. Not worth!

Swissbake  Cry Jul 18, 2012

Interesting new launched. It's the toblerone chocolate puff! So interesting and since i like the chocolate, i decided to give this a try. To my dismay, it was horrible! The inner part was empty. Basically, the entire puff was coated with a layer of melted sugar. It was pretty sweet and the inside was just plain. I wonder if they forgotten the fillings or what. No chocolate at all! And this small piece cost $3. Madness!

The Marmalade Pantry Cry Jun 24, 2012

Tea time at Ion Marmalade pantry. We had some cupcakes along with tea. There are a few selections of cupcakes and we decided to go for Elvis chocolate banana cake with peanut butter frosting. Honestly, i didn't like it at all. I'm kind of a banana person who love banana infused dishes but this is just not to my liking. The banana cake was fine. It is the frosting that damaged the entire cupcake. The peanut butter was really thick and gooey. Red velvet is still the best here!
