Tiong Bahru Pau Smile Dec 31, 2010
Categories : Hawker Centre

I have been following this stall since young as they have the most delicious pau in Singapore! I love their char siew pau as the fillings are very tasty and the skin simply melts in your mouth. Also remember to try their siew mai with their chilli sauce as the size is larger compared to other dim sum eateries in Singapore. You can also order "raw" pau and dim sum from the stall if you want to steam them yourself at home. This is a "must" buy if you happen to be around tiong bahru area lol

Categories : Hawker Centre

This stall is quite famous in the area as they "specialised" in selliing fishball and fish cake. You can notice people buying pau and fishball at the same time as it is located next to the tiong bahru pau stall. The stall owner is selling 5 smaller sized fishball for 1 dollar while 4 bigger sized ones are going for 1 dollar too. The stall also welcome preorders if you require a large amount to cater for birthday celebration etc.

Soya bean milk tart Smile Dec 30, 2010   (Related Review)

If you are a egg tart lover, then you must go and try the soya bean milk tart.
They are having two different flavors which is chocolate and original. I would recommend the original tart.
The filling is very smooth and you will taste the soya bean milk.
It's handmade daily but heard from the lady boss it's only available at noon and not in the morning.
The tart is selling at 90 cents for original and 1 dollars for chocolate.

famous tiong bahru shui kueh Smile Dec 30, 2010

Categories : Singaporean Chinese | Hawker Centre

Shui kueh is a common dish in singapore. You may find it in almost all the food center but Jian Bo Shui kueh is very unique.
What makes it so unique? It's their special "cai-bo". The lady boss is never stingy in giving lots of cai-bo if you requested for it. The kueh is so smooth and just like silky tofu. Selling at reasonable price at $1 for 4 pcs. Highly recommended for all the shui kueh lover. You will definitely like it.
