This is a HK restaurant. It serves a lot of HK styled food ranging from toasts, noodles, rice, western food, desserts etc. I love their peanut butter toast. It is served using thick toast of bread with lots of creamy, buttery peanut butter jam. They also have the floss toast. When you come to this restaurant, you must try their noodles. There are wanton noodles with fresh prawns inside. The noodles are very springy and the soup is nice. The seafood hor fen is also very yummy. I like their drinks as well. You can try their Yuan yang- a combination of Coffee & tea with milk. They have it in hot or cold. One of my favourite desserts is of course their Mango pomelo dessert. It is very nice & I will definitely order it on every visit. The staffs are very helpful in recommending the food to us. Try out the 3 eggs fried rice with silver fish- 3 eggs consists of salted egg, century egg etc.

This is one of the subsudiary of the well-knowned restaurants (CRYSTAL JADE). I love their HK styled buns & pastry. The bo luo pau is nice. It has a few flavours. Some with traditional char-siew filling, plain one, black sesame etc. It has a crispy yellow crust. They also have HK lao puo bing, egg tarts, cute little cupcake for little children. My kid loves their beautiful cupcakes. It has a couple of designs with flowers, rainbows on chocolate toppings. The muffin inside is very soft and spongy. Most importantly, it is not very sweet. The price for the cupcake is around $1.20. They also have carrot cakes etc. If you happen to pass by the shops at around 8.30pm, you can get storewide discounts on their breads and pastries (thk its around 20% for breads, 10% dor cupcakes etc). Great for those who wants to buy some breads for breakfast. Highly recommended !!

COFFEEBEAN Smile Apr 25, 2012

One of the earliest Ice blended coffee that I know of. I bought my first cup of Ice Blended Mocha from Scotts many years ago. It became my favourite Ice blended drink. I remembered whenever I went to Orchard, I will surely visit the branch at Scotts to have my Ice blended Mocha. It is very nice, cooling and refreshing. I love the finely-blended ice. There is also Ice blended Chocolate drink, flavoured fruit tea. I like the Ultimate Ice blended Mocha and the Blackforest Ice blended. They serve sandwiches, muffins, cakes & biscuits as well. A great place for a cup of coffee, cake with friends. They have lots of outlets located all over Singapore. You can also purchase the Coffee beans card that comes with rewards points that you can redeem for rewards later on. You can top up amounts into the card as well.

Wide spread of International buffet. There are lots of fresh seafoods such as yuppies, crabs, prawns, fish, oysters etc.. They are very fresh and I love the crab claws. They are quite big. Do try their herbal prawns soup. There are pasta sections whereby you can select the pasta you want, the sauce you prefer, spiciness etc. There are chinese cuisines as well. They have HK styled chicken too. The salad bars are good. I love the pastries there. There are nice desserts, fruits and fondue too. Yummy. U can choose from strawberries, marshmallows, grapes for their fondues. There are ice creams too. Great for desserts lovers!! There are 2 coffee machines too. you can choose the kind of coffees you want from the capsules (Mild to rich). It is usually quite crowded. Do remember to make a reservations before you head down to this restaurant. It is conveniently located in Orchard area. You can also check out on the discounts given by certain Credit cards. Highly recommended though it may be a bit ex. But it's worth the price.

Chicken hotpot Smile Apr 25, 2012

Went to chicken hotpot (Small $14.80, Medium $18.80, Large $22.80) in nex with family to have lunch. The large one is enough for a family of four. The food was served in a claypot with burners below. You can select the level of spiciness ranging from mild, medium and very spicy. It comes with generous amt of chicken and vegetables. On top of this, you can choose side dishes (ala carte) such as noodles, vegetables $1.80 or mushrooms $2.80. You can put the noodles into the claypot and eat. Tastes good. The gravy is nice and great for eating with rice. On top of this, you can request for the waitress to top up the soup for the claypot if you find the gravy getting lesser. The waitresses are quite nice too. Keep on going around to check on the claypots and asked if we need to top up more soup etc. If she noticed that temperature of the claypot is too high, offered to lower the burner for us. I love the chicken here as they have quite lean meats. Great for those who do not like fatty meats. You can also order Shrimps claypot (Small $14.80, Large $23.80) or Beef claypots (Small $15.80, Medium $19.80, Large $23.80)
