DONUTS

DONUTS

I stronfly recommended the donuts from this company, The donuts are very soft and fresh. It is not oily unlike some of the companies. Moreover, there are lots of flavours (total of 19 flavours). They have Oreo, strawberry, chocolate - ranging from white to dark chocolate, fruity flavours, hazelnut flavours too. I like the pink heart donut. It has red sweets with strawberry filling inside and strawberry toppings. Try out the green tea flavour. It has a tinge of green tea taste. The orange strips with white chocolate is nice too. There is some orange flavour & not too strong. In addition, most of the donuts are not very sweet. Suitable for all age groups. I personally love their Oreo flavour. There are lots of oreo bits with white chocolate toppings on the donut itself. It is around $1.50. If you purchase 6pcs in a box is around $7.50. The more you purchase, the cheaper it is. Great for parties, tea breaks. There is delivery service which you can order online.

This is a halal japanese restaurant located in Far East Plaza. The ramen here are quite nice and cheaper than Ajisen. They serve sushi, ramens, desserts here. They have sushi buffet bar as well. The staffs here are quite service oriented and everytime we visit this restaurant they are quite friendly. My kid loves the ramen here. The stock is not too oily and is quite tasty. We tried the tuna ramen & mushroom ramen. They have some kids meal too. It comes with Chicken karage & chips + 1 cup of orange juice. The prices range from $8 (for ramen) to $15+ (for their bento).. They have desserts such as ice cream. Mochi with matcha ice cream & red bean sauce.

Bought some vouchers online. Went to this small cafe along Yio chu kang rd. Ordered their Set meal. C/w Lamb chop, chicken & Sausage. You can choose 2 side dishes, I opt for their onion rings & mashed potatoes. The set also comes with Soup of the day (Mushroom soup), 1 pasta, 1 lychee creme brulee & 1 drink. Tried their Pasta (chose Pasta with carbonara sauce). Overall, I am satisfied with the food here. It is very delicious.. The portion is quite big too. The food here is quite cheap as well. You can choose from their set meals (lunch etc). The only minus point is that the place is too cramped. They only have a few tables downstairs. Aware that there are seats upstairs but did not go up to take a look. Recommend this place for food. Cheap & good !

A western restaurant recommended for all age groups. They serve wonderful ice creams, wide range of western foods, pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, drinks & desserts. I love the Fish & chips in Apricot sauce - fried fish served with chips & coleslaw. I love the Apricot sauce. The fish are quite fresh. They also have great salads. Try out their ocean crunch salad- vegetable with carrots, fish bites, fried calamari, shrimps in pineapple bbq sauce. The caesar salad with chicken is great too. the salads are served in a big bowl. You can order 1 set and share. The brownies are served on sizzling pans with ice creams, sauce & peanuts. for those who are adventurous can try their ice cream-Earthquakes. You can eat to your heart content! You can also join their membership card if you spend $50 and above. This card entitles you to 1 member's drink at $1 only whenever you dine at Swensen's and also birthday discounts on your birthday month.

I have visited the outlet at Tampines One. Ordered the Herbal duck. Love the nice gravy that comes with a tinge of herbal taste. Even my kid loves the gravy on his rice. This is a must-east dish for this restaurant. We tried the Dong po meat. Usually, I do not order such dish as I was afraid that it is too fatty and I do not know how to eat it. Anyway, we decided to order one and try it. To my surprise, it is not fatty at all. The meat and the fats blended in very well when you eat it. The sauce that comes with it is very nice. So nice tht my son who normally eats 1 bowl of rice actually finished his bowl of rice and requested for more rice so that he can put the gravy on his rice. another must-try dish is their deep fried kai lan with floss. The kai lan is fried till crispy and not oily. Do try their prawn balls in mayo, seafood fried rice in XO sauce & Silver Cod Fish in Superior Soy Sauce . tastes great too !!
