Wanton Noodle OK Aug 23, 2010
Categories : Cantonese/Hong Kong | Hawker Centre | Noodles

The wanton noodle is being served in a traditional bowl, creating a retro feeling when eating the noodle.

I chose the dry wanton mee with fried wantons and extra chili.

The mee is super 'qu-qu' (springy) and the chili is great.
The vegetable is fresh with sliced char siew
Overall, it is great due to the chili and the mee.
The rest is just average.

Prawn Noodle Smile Aug 23, 2010

Prawn noodle is one of my favourite hawker cuisine.
They must have tasty soup to qualify as good prawn noodle.

The one here is one good example. The thick soup mixed with some chili powder makes it all the more tasty.

It comes with just two big prawns and the yellow noodle has the pork-lard cubes and chili powder as toppings.

The whole dish is just so apppetizing.

Not for the faint-hearted OK Aug 23, 2010

Was recommended there by friends to try out a very exotic dish.
Crocodile Kingdom is one of the few places in SG which serves crocodile paws.
Yes you said it right. Crocodile feet!

It is cooked in herbs served in claypots for just S$40.
One look, the skin really do gives you the creeps but when you bite it, it is soft. Understand that the layer under the skin is full of collagen so ladies, you just have to sacrifice further for beauty. tongue

The soup is a little bitter due to the herbs used but guess this is nothing compared to the crocodile paws, right? lol

Something that is filling enough Smile Aug 23, 2010

Always prefer Carl's Junior or Burger King as Mac bergers are alway tiny and never filling enough for me.

But things changed with MacD's Quarter-Pounder!
Comes in two layers of thick slices of beef, it has two slices of cheese to go with.
Together with the tomato and lettuce, it makes the whole berger tasty and importantly, filling.

Do remember to have them hot. It will taste bettertongue

Ordered the Beef Pepperoni and Hawaiian Pizza for the prize of one.

The Beef Pepperoni is tasty but think that the beef is a little dry and thin. If not as a pizze topping, beef should not be eaten this way. Nevertheless, the cheese toppings makes the pizza tasy and good.

The Hawaiian pizza however is not as good. Prefer the one from Dominos, the Canadian Hawaiian pizza is drier and the turkey ham and cheese topping is far too little to even taste it.

We also ordered the Cheese Chicken Ball. It is nice and juicy with cheese inside the sausage. Pretty much like the cheese sausage we have in supermarket.
