Hokkien Mee OK Aug 01, 2010
Categories : Food Court

On days when I feel hungrey-ier than normal at night, I will would the Hokkien Mee.

Not the best I have tasted, but this is average-ly good enough esp in CCK (place where no other places to eat at night).

Smell nicer than it taste, it comes with two unfresh prawns. Luckily, the sambal chilli is there to save it.

Ice-Cream OK Aug 01, 2010

Swensens is famous for their wide variety of ice-crean sundaes.

Loves their Banana Split (I'm a serious banana fan) but ordered the Cookie Summit instead.

It is tall which comes with layers for Butterscotch ice-cream and cookies.
The combination is magicial. The sweet taste with the chrunchy feeling makes it unforgettable. However, I will advise to stay away from the cream on top of the layers

Chicken Salad with chicken OK Jul 30, 2010

Imagine ordering chicken rice without chicken? Or fish ball noodle without fishball?
It actually happened to me even though I did not order it.

I ordered Chicken Salad and it actually came without any chicken ! huffy
I was shocked and angry. Apparently, the chef FORGOTTEN about the most important ingredient.. to me.

I think the chef must have FORGOTTEN to shred some chicken flicks from the Rodeo Chicken Wings that we ordered.

Shall not comment more on the chicken-less salad even though they offered a plate of sliced chicken for me to mix into the salad.

The Rodeo Chicken Wings tasted ok even though it would have been much better if it was served hot. The sauce is sweet with a taste of tomato and herbs.

Ugly red ruby OK Jul 30, 2010   (Related Review)
Categories : Thai | Restaurant | Halal

This time we were back just for some thai desserts.

Too bad the Durian Sticky Rice ran out!!
Hence ordered Red Ruby instead.

I must say this is the ugliest red ruby I have ever seen.
The big, red "rubies" filled all over the top and on top is just 5 strands of jackfruit flesh.
5 strands!! I nearly wanted to ask them if its the chef's blonde hair.

Anyway even though its ugly, its taste is sweet and tasty.
The big, fat "rubies" are churchy on the inside and soft on the outside.
As for the "hair" did not make much of a difference.

I will be back for the Durian Sticky Rice one day
Ugly but nice

Spicy Thai Food Smile Jul 29, 2010
Categories : Thai | Restaurant | Halal

The search for the best Thai food in SG continues.

We ordered
1) Seafood Tom Yam (S$7.50)
2) Chicken Wings (S$7.50)
3) Kang Kong (S$6.90)

The Tom Yam is more spicy than sour but the the seafood is fresh even though there are only 3 prawns

The Chicken wings are tasty and also goes very well with the sweet-sour sauce. 24 pcs a plate is more than enough for both of us.

The Kang Kong came in a mountain on a plate. It is very spicy and tasty. Got to go with rice to reduce the spice level

Verdict: My vote still goes to Thai Accent..
