Went there with my BF for dinner on a Friday evening. We had their set dinner of :
1) Mushroom Soup
2) Dijon Norwegian Salmon (with spinach crepe and sauteed prawns)
3) Chocolate Fondue
4) Ice Lemon Tea cooler

Everything was great ! The soup was creamy and bursting with flavour, salmon/crepe and prawns were fresh and nicely cooked, the chocolate fondue was a good dessert to end the perfect meal!

The servers were prompt, attentive and smiley. Place was not overly crowded so was a nice place to chill and chat. Parking was also easy and cheap at this place. Take the alfresco seats (if it's a nice weather outside) as the aircon area can get a little crampy. It was a very pleasant experience, i am "like"-ing this place over and over ! smile

Great Japanese food and service Smile Oct 25, 2013

Popped by for lunch. Colleagues ordered their Katsu Don while I went for the Teriyaki Salmon with Onigiri (rice balls).
While my colleagues commented theirs were normal, I truely enjoyed mine.

I paid about $4 to make my main course a set lunch, and I got 2 side dishes and a drink - Chawanmushi, potato salad and a ice green tea. Variety of their sides are quite good. What I love about my choice was that the salmon was grilled to just the right way, cooked but still juicy and tender, and the Onigiri were just superb ! I love rice, and they did this with perfection. The rice were light and chewy and fluffy. Just good by itself and u need no sauce to go along with it.

Service was also quite good , and you get 10% off if you make payment by Cash, how cool is that?

After hearing much reviews of this place, I finally got a chance to try it out. It didnt disappoint !

My BF and i ordered :

Salmon steak (with special cream sauce)

Salmon was done in perfection, crispy on the outside which was the way I love my salmon to be done, plus a nice thick and fragrant cream sauce to go along. The side veggies was a little sweet (for some reason) though.

Puchi Puchi black ink Pasta

An interesting dish, chewy and a nice portion of the seafood. I literally polished my plate. tongue

Signature fruity scoop cake

A pity we only had room for 1 cake, and it was a hard pick. I asked the restaurant staff for recommendations and she asked that I tried their signature. The cake was light, fluffy and of a right sweetness with fresh fruits.

Even my BF who usually gave answers like "ok lor, can lor..." everytime I asked how is our food, gave it a thumb up.
I will certainly be checking back again, this time with more round to try out their other cakes... lol

Visited this lovely place with my girl friend on a Wednesday night. There were outdoor and indoor seats, and we opted for the indoor seats. The seats indoors are more suited for drinks though as I had a hard time eating from the low table. tongue

We ordered :

Sauteed shrimps in creamy garlic herbs (highly inspired by piggylovestoeat's review here!)
Fettuccine with bacon in creamy sauce
Salmon Fillet (Appropriate serving and very yummy mashed potato!)
Choc Lava Cake with Vanila ice cream

Everything was yummy !smile The choc lava cake was especially good as the cake was smooth and fluffy, and choc oozes out nicely!

Service was also very good as the waiter makes an attempt to chit chat with you and check on you every now and then, and make recommendations.

We spent about $80 altogether (2pax) but quite a good dining experience ! If you take the outdoor seats, there's also live music, which is quite cool. lol

This new cafe is just about 2 months old, and not alot of people knew abt them yet. So, my sis and I had the whole cafe to ourselves when we popped by for a late night baked treat on a Monday evening. We had Ice Latte & Ice Hazelnut Latte along our sweet treats. We were served by this friendly young man who gave us good recommendations since it was out first visit. Place was decorated by all our childhood toys, and cute funky sofas and tables. I hope more people get to know this little gem in the West.. =)

Blueberry chesscake
Rich and generous serving of blueberries. My sis love it.

The Neapolitan - dark chocolate +brownie base + sweet vanilla
I enjoyed this.. very rich and great contrast in texture...
