Dessert place! Smile Apr 04, 2013

My friends and I came here to chill and really enjoyed the desserts. The glutanious mango was really nice, the outside was really soft and Q and the mango inside was sweet. The almond paste was also nice.

They offer main meals such as noodles and rice and can complete the set with a dessert and drink which looks quite worth it. I will definately go back and try the other desserts and eat the glutanious mango again.

Spending per head: Approximately $4(Tea)

Pancake and Soymilk Smile Apr 04, 2013

Mr bean is one of my favourite snack, where a pancake with a cup of hot/cold soymilk cost $1.90. My favourite would be their cheese or their tuna pancake. Their pearly soymilk or their pearly bandung soymilk are also drinks that I commonly buy. The riceball is also worth it for the price and nice. It has both sesame and peanut flavour which are common favourite flavours of riceballs.

Shiok Maki is like a shiok! Smile Apr 04, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Sushi/Sashimi

My friend rave to me about this place and so one day we went there for lunch when we meet up!

She keep telling me how nice the shiok maki was and I was quite shock by how much she loved it. She don't like to eat salmon raw or cooked and yet she took one after another of this shiok maki. The taste of the maki was really really good with the sauce and roe on the top and the crispy fried ebi in the middle.

I ordered a ramen which I forgot the name, it tasted ok, I liked the soup base but I think the noodle tasted really bland and a little stiff to my liking, the ingredients was quite generous too.

The place is quite crowded which can explain why the service is quite slow.

Ramen for dinner @ Ajisen OK Apr 04, 2013

Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Ramen | Kids-Friendly

Ajisen is a chain store that have been around in Singapore and famous for its ramen. They offer ramen with set which includes a drink and a side. The sides tasted alright and the ramen was quite nice. However, I would prefer Tampopo's ramen as compare to Ajisen's one though it is slightly more pricey as compared to Ajisen. The service was alright but the request to refill for tea took a while.

Lunch @ White Dog Smile Apr 04, 2013

Categories : American | Restaurant | Kids-Friendly

Came here for lunch with my friends some time ago and really liked the food! The pasta was refreshing and the seafood was quite fresh. I liked the mashed potatos and the vegetables they chose for sides. The salad tasted nice too. I really enjoyed the ambience since the restaurant had full length window showing the harbourfront.

I really liked the meal there and was upset to hear that they have closed sad
