Come Come! Smile Jul 25, 2012

Lai Lai, direct translation to Come Come, really beckons you to go to this casual eatery with its value for money set. I had the dry beef noodles with a complimentary side of which i chose the pig's intestines - in chinese da chang. Good very good! I love pig intestines and I am glad they offer this dish as a choice for sides. It is quite a large portion by the way, so a pretty satisfying meal.
The beef noodles itself was not bad too... the noodles are the handmade, yu mian kind of noodles. A pretty satisfying bowl! Will return to Lai Lai again when i cant think of anything else to eat at Nex.

Why isnt this place more popular? It is quite sad to see this place lacking in human beings. Was pretty quiet on a Saturday night! The food is not quite good. And i am glad i got a chance to be here thanks to a Standard Chartered voucher.
Very good pasta, as you can see they are pretty generous with the ingredients / the seafood!

The pizza was quite interesting too. Not fantastic but unique.

Chikuwa Revisited Smile Jul 25, 2012   (Related Review)

I had said before and I say it again, this place serves one of the best Chirashi sushi in Singapore! I actually took a cab all the way from the east just to satisfy my craving here at Chikuwa.
So this season, Uncle Peter (the chef) decides that salmon, sword fish and mackerel are his catch. As you can see from the photograph, uncle peter is very generous with his sashimi slices and ikura! Extremely delicious! Unforgettable experience, you really got to try it yourself.

Large slab of Unagi was the order of my dining partner!

Nice place Smile Jul 25, 2012

Yes it is Thai food again! I realised i do it quite a far bit of thai food!
This is one of the Thai restaurants that I patronise quite often - E-Sarn.
This is the glass noodles seafood salad. Pretty good, the black fungus gives the salad a pretty good crunch.

Tom Yum soup was abit too sweet, not spicy enough

Fried fish pretty ordinary, in fact I dont really like this dish, too dry and not much flavour.

Green Curry chicken. Quite Lemak.

A plate of vegetables for fibre and vitamins!

There seems to be an eggs benedict craze in Singapore! Anyhow, here I am with a friend at Hatch for my eggs benedict fix.
I need 2 eggs bens to satisfy my craving. One with corn beef and one with smoke salmon! I like eggs ben with smoke salmon, corn beef is not bad too! But nothing compliments eggs much as well as smoked salmon

This is my friend's banana pancake

and she was craving for some sausages... so here are her sausages.
