OMG! I tell you, the ban mian here is TOTALLY CMI.

My workplace is near this place. After buying, i went back to office and eat it. The soup is like glue and the mian itself is overcooked, it became kinda soggy tho. After all, the taste is acceptable.

However, I would not recommend you to try it out. Perhaps, you cant try eating there to see if it's alright. Maybe that explains why there isn't any queue for this stall, but there is long queue to other stalls.

Colleague and i decided to have lunch at LJS since we have not ate this for quite awhile.

We order 3pcs chicken with additional Coleslaw & Grilled Cajun Chicken with Coleslaw too. I would say this branch's food are cold including the french fries. Can you imagine french fries which are meant to be crispy and yet it turned out to be cold and soft. :huffy:

I would also want to emphasize that this is not the first time i had my food cold at this branch. The service crew are slow in ordering too, she will take your order, proceed to inform kitchen of the orders, then start chatting with her colleagues. :huff:huffy:y:

Upon looking at the menu, it sounds nice, that is because i'm a person who love spicy food.

However, upon arrival, the sambal doesn't seems to go well with the dory fish. I ended up going it with those bottled chilli sauce, it tastes so muuucchh better!

Another thing is that the sambal chilli is taken out right from the refrigerator and the dory fish seems to be left in room temperature for quite awhile.

Was so frustrated over the bill, our rational is we paid for service charge, therefore we requested from the staff for bill, we waited for 15mins for our bill. Seems that not only us waiting for the bill, there are other customers who are waiting for it too! And it happens to all Swensens branches.

this is the concept of the restaurant..
their lunch crowd is gd..ordered some of the side dishes..
fried toufu..
it's crispy even when the dish is cold..
not too oily..next for our side dishe is mayo prawns..
it's crispy, not too oily..and has a very strong mayo taste..
even when it turns cold..the last side dish is cheese scallop..
we had abandon it and ate it only when its cold..
so it doesn't taste that nice as the cheese has turned hard..
but i guess it would be AWESOME to eat it while it's hot..next, i ordered curry ramen..
before mixing the curry with the ramen,
the soup is nice, but after mixing the curry with it,
the soup is farrrr too salty.
would be better if the fried chicken can be separated from the ramen,
to prevent it turning soggy..1 of my friend order spicy chicken..
she chose the 1 with 2 chillies..
it's spicy enough..
the chicken is being seperated,
so it's not soggy..another friend ordered teriyaki chicken ramen with 2 chillies,
i mean on the menu u can choose the level of chili u want,
she said it's sufficient and spicy enough..
she said the sauce for the chicken to be lesser will be better,
cox at the amount given, it's too sweet..
overall, it's nice..total spending is about $65

this stall sells quite a number of varieties of food..
had prawn mee dry..
i would say it's only so-so..
the noodles is being made too watery,
therefore the chilli is somehow being "washed away"..
can't really taste chilli, all i get is the taste of the yellow noodles..
the prawns has been sliced into half,
so, it's kinda thin..altgt 4 pieces, in which only 2 prawns..and few slices of pork and fishcake..
will not come back for this..
it's $3 for his..
