I was here during lunch time and there was quite a huge crowd. Probably because of the lunch time special and the new coca-cola cup. I wanted a quick fix for my hungry stomach and thus ordered the double cheeseburger. At only $2, it is really value for money. I love how the cheese melts onto the beef patty and the bread and makes them even tastier. The beef patty, though thin, were very yummy and having 2 patties makes it even meatier.

I did never fail to order the original THICKburger whenever I patronise Carl's Jr. It is a huge burger. I had trouble finishing the entire burger, not to mention the fries. The fries are very crispy and do not become soggy after a short while.

Despite the good food, this is definitely a pricely fast food chain. It costs as good as a restaurant! $10 plus for a set. Yes despite the price, I am hopeless addicted to it. This probably explains how they can price their food so high and yet not lose customers.

The healthier fast food choice! I ordered the subway melt this time round The menu says that it has less than 6 grams of fat, though I'm not sure if it is true.

The subway melt consists of various hams and roasted beef. I ordered my sandwich with the parmesan oregano bread - my favorite bread. It is very fragrant with the cheese on top. I added loads of vegetable to make it a really healthy sandwich.

The laksa from this stall has a very fragrant coconut taste and is very spicy which makes the gravy very addictive. Though the gravy is not healthy to finish but one just cannot resist the temptation of finishing it. The stall is generous with the cockles and they are very fresh and without the bad fishy taste. The tau pok absorbed all the laksa gravy and oozes out in your mouth with every bite. This is indeed wonderful.

This nasi lemak stall serves various nasi lemak sets and there is always quite a queue at the Tampines outlet and it finished selling by dinner time. The rice is very fragrant and you can smell it from a distance. The rice is still warm when you have it there and the coconut aroma is very fragrant. The nasi lemak is also accompanied with very good sambal chilli. I ordered Set A which costs $3. The set comes with ikan bilis, popcorn chicken and a fishcake. However, I changed the fish cake to a fish fillet which required an additional $0.20. The ikan bilis is very crispy and fresh. The popcorn chicken is crispy and tender. But the fish fillet does not taste as good. The fish was not well marinated and if not for the samba chilli the fish seem tasteless. Overall, I think this nasi lemak is worth the try.
