Steam crab Smile Jan 05, 2012

Categories : Seafood | Zi Char

I used to patronise the Long Beach at Marina South, and was a big fan of their steam crab. It has been awhile since I had eaten the same version of this steam crab after they moved away. Until my mother told me that the chef from marina south has been stationed at this outlet, I was elated. We always go for the alaksa crab which can be divided into 2 portion, 1 for steam and theother portion was fried with WHITE pepper. The claws were as big as my palm! And yet the meat was soft and sweet. My little girl can finished one claw by herself.. she also enjoyed it like we do! smile

bubble tea Smile Dec 28, 2011

Categories : Taiwanese | Bubble Tea/ Tea

I only started drinking bubble tea after I saw the queue at this stall. The business seem to have quietened down for a period of time, and now it seemed to be back in the market. I have to say the pearl was extremely chewy and it is the best which I have eaten so far. I also like the idea where we can choose the sweetness. I am not sure if this was the stall which started the level of sugarness, but this is the shop which I saw this idea being brought to us. Hope to see this keep going as I've started to like bubble tea again!

Awfully sinful cupcakes Smile Dec 28, 2011

My first bite was really satisfying as I could taste the richness of the chocolate. I cannot remember if this was the name as cupcake , but it does look like one to me. I can say this is the most unforgetable cupcake which I have eaten. Not only does it look nice , the cake is also really soft and moist. Just like their signature whole cake. This cupcake is more value for money as to compared to their sliced cake. I got a shock when I paid for one slice of cake for around 8 bucks once. The white cupcake was quite nice too, but I think the dark chocolate gets a higher vote from me!

replacement for cakes Smile Dec 28, 2011

Isn't this a good replacement for cake as it really looks so yummy just by looking at it. I would not miss to get a slice of this tart whenever I drop by at vivo city. Every piece of tart is nicely decorated and display at the cabinent. I was really spoiled for choice, and I would always go for a different flavour each time. Every ingredient is so fresh and the cream is not too sweet. And I was really amazed how they made this 'stiff' cream as those cream that I had eaten is usually really soft and flowing. Hope I will learn to make this tart together with my little girl one day. She will surely love this.

Not only that my little girl is a fan of this soft Japanese cake, I am also one of their supporters. Sometimes I can even drop by at parkway just to get this cake for our breakfast. It comes in 2 sizes and I normally will go for the big one as this cake still stay fresh even after a few days . I can have it for breakfast and tea break and I never get sick of it. So soft and really melts in the mouth with every bite. love it.
