Let's Sweet Delight Cry Jun 27, 2013
Categories : Japanese | Restaurant | Desserts and Cakes | Buffet

The Food
This is basically different desserts in buffet style. Anyway the main dishes like the spaghetti and pizzas are really not bad, but I think their desserts kinda fail. Even though they look nice but the chocolate chiffon cake I had was harder than a chiffon cake should be and taste a bit too sweet for me. Also their variety are not wide enough to be considered buffet style.

The Price
Over-priced at $21.80++ per adult for such a small variety of food.

Overall
I will definitely not come back again and be disappointed with the desserts.

Curry Chicken Mee Delight Cry Apr 29, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean | Hawker Centre | Curries

The Food
I ordered curry chicken bee hoon served with tau pok, fish cakes, potatoes and chunks of steamed chicken and the savory gravy was sweet and spicy but lacking in the fragrance and flavour of coconut milk. The bee hoon however blended well with the gravy but the serving was so little for my stomach. The 3 pieces of steamed white chicken were more bony than meaty and the size also quite small. However, the dark red chilli added also sweet and fragrant and complements the curry perfectly

The Price
Reasonably priced at $4 for the whole bill

Overall
I will not come back again and not recommended to try this!

Serangoon Kway Chap Delight Cry Mar 14, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Teochew | Hawker Centre

The Food
I ordered the Kway Chap set served with braised pork belly, tau pok, pig skin and big intestines. The stewing of the inner organ and meat stuff were very nicely done but the sauce not thick and strong enough to bring out the flavours of the stuffs. As for the Kway Teow, too soggy for me, overcooked too long. Chilli still ok and not overly spicy.

The Price
Reasonably priced at $3.50 for quite a big portion!!

Overall
I will not come back again as it fail to meet my expectations

Premium Chicken Rice Cry Mar 14, 2013
Categories : Singaporean | Hotel | Chicken Rice | Bak Kut Teh

The Food
I ordered the famous Chatterbox Chicken Rice since I never try before until now. The rice was fluffy, flavourful, quite tasty and not so oily. The chicken meat was okay but really did not impress me for the expectations I have on this premium chicken rice. It was nice, tasty, soft but not juicy and tender enough. The sauces did not quite compliment the chicken either. The chilli had some sourness and had no punch or taste to it.

The Price
Over-priced at around $30++

Overall
I will not come back again and will try other stalls instead

Thye Hong Hokkien Mee Delight Cry Mar 13, 2013
Share on TwitterShare on Facebook
Categories : Singaporean | Hawker Centre | Stall / Kiosk | Kids-Friendly

The Food
I ordered the Hokkien mee served on a opal leave with about 3 prawns, some tiny pieces of squids and this is the extreme wet version due to lots of gravy. Unlike other Hokkien Mee stalls, Thye Hong use the thick white bee hoon more than the yellow mee hence does not get soggy easily. The noodles did not quite absorb the stock and did not quite blend well enough. But the chilli was okay.

The Price
Reasonably priced at $5.00 per plate

Overall
I will not come back again and will try other stalls!
