I usually go for the brewed tea when ordering at Gong Cha, but i was feeling hungry and wanted a milk tea that day. Decided to go for the matcha milk tea with azuki beans instead.

Not the nicest matcha milk that i had before. Despite the colour, the taste of green tea is lacking much (especially when i compared to starbucks green tea latte). The red bean, is hard to be suck up with the straw, making it very irritating and i had to tear open the cover when i finished the drink just to eat the beans.

The service of the waitress was reasonable. She smiled and greeted us when we ordered the food and paid the bill. But there was a point that I could not stand, and that was she keep turning the sign to the side that says "sorry we are closed" instead of "please wait to be seated". The time that I went was only 9pm, and it was stated clearly that the last order is at 10pm on the wall behind. Potential customers who did not notice the wall behind would be lost.

I only ordered a bowl of chendol from them, and I was deeply disappointed. The picture on the banner looks so appealing! But the one that was served is everything but that. The serving is so small, and 90% is just ice. There's not much ingredients. And though it seems they put in lots of coconut milk, it isn't fragment at all. I could get it at kopitiam for a much cheaper price and better taste.

I have always gone to swensens for ice cream when i have cravings for ice cream, but i was particularly upset at this outlet. I had hazel daze ice cream, and all outlets should have the same ice cream, so i wont comment more on the taste. But the service and the way they handle situations is really bad.

The thing is, i found a fry in my ice cream half way while eating, to my upmost disgust. And i pointed that out to the waiter, who merely take away my cup of ice cream and offer me a new cup. But the problem is, i am already very disgusted by the idea of having a fly in my ice cream, and i do not want even more of that, what more since "another cup" will still come out of the same tub of ice cream. So, he asked what soft drinks i would like to have, and that will be on the house. But, in my opinion, the whole of the first ice cream should already be on the house. Why should i pay for something that is totally not up to the standard At least offer or assure me that they will look into the cleanliness of the restaurant. So, nope. I will not go here ever again.

I think fish & co do served a quite decent standard of food, and that was my impression up till when i went this particular fish & co for dinner and had an issue with the burnt calamari.

The food in general is still great though. It is just that, like every normal person out there, i hated my food being burnt, and i had liked my calamari the way it should be, not burnt. So i had requested for a change for the calamari. And that waitress simply refuse! And state that it was way it was. Took me quite a while convinced them to change and, there were still a few burnt pieces.

The place is cramped too, and seated too close to the next table for comfort.

Black Glutinous Rice With Coconut Milk, also more commonly known as Pulot Hitam, is one of the popular hot dessert around and it is impossible to not find it in a dessert store.

The dessert is fairly easy to cook, thus i would have no idea that any thing can go wrong with it. However, i was wrong. Everything can go wrong even with something simple. I guessed that was why i never want to try the dessert near my house. The amount of sugar added was, wow. This dessert is way way too sweet and they added too much water. It was not starchy enough as it should be since it is a glutinous rice dessert after all.
