The first thing that came to mind whenever someone mentioned about Japanese buffet would be the salmon sashimi. The sashimi offered in this restaurant is fresh, but i preferred the pan-fried one. It taste sweeter than the raw ones.
Service is slow, and some items run out fast though there were not a lot of customers in the shop. My group was in fact, the only ones in the shop that particular afternoon. So, be sure to order items like the asparagus wrapped with bacon immediately after stepping into the shop. Some of the food items took half an hour to come, which is considered as extremely slow. This would be the first buffet that i went for that i would have the whole table cleared several times.
The fried rice was surprisingly good, and though it is a no-no to have rice at buffet, each of us actually ordered a plate. Tried the steamboat too, but i did not like the soup. It was too plain for my liking.
The chawamushi is smooth and not too watery, which i must say is one of the few things in the shop that came fast and i actually liked.
Spending per head: Approximately $38
