fried kway teow Smile Mar 27, 2011

Tried this stall's char kway teow before..tasted not bad (from my perspective), served hot, not too dry or wet (just nice) and not too sweet as well. The generous quantity of 'see-hum' and chinese sausage blended well with the char kway teow. Add chilli for additional flavour to it. service is alrite, environment average, quite packed during lunch.

overall: smell nice, taste nice, what more could i ask for? tongue

western! Smile Mar 26, 2011

i always eat this stall's chicken chop most of the time during lunch (very filling, can last until dinner without break). estimated 4 person queueing for the food, service is quite alrite, food serve was hot.

I always order chicken chop $3.50 + rice (additional 50cent). You get to choose either the salad or baked beans as well. Chicken portion was huge, very filling, sauce on top of it was hot and quite sweet, fries given was decent (crispy and tasty too), rice quantity was generous. baked beans was average (extracted from canned)

overall: very "full" lunch and cheap as well for us students ! tongue

i been eating this since young, my grandmother used to buy this for me.i Love eating shui kueh. very appealing flavour (quite sweet)The texture of their shui kueh was just nice (soft, smooth, wobbly, firm), chye poh was not salty too,i did not add chili to the food because i'm afraid it will be too spicy for me (based on experience),

overall: never complain before tongue

This Yong Tau Foo nothing special compared to other stalls i ate before, self pick items (minimum 7 dish). The service was average, environment was clean. price was quite standard around $3 + rice. i ordered rice instead of noodles ( rice is more filling), with soup and nothing else, The taupok filling was generous was soft and fishballs was tender, bouncy. (not too hard and not too soft)

overall: im contended smile

"Happy Go Lucky" stall i named it tongue i realise most of bubble stalls vendors are friendly, they tend to smile more often.

very fanciful design shop layout, and clear pricing as well.
Wide range of drinks(including herbal tea) and beancurd . I Ordered my favourite "Peppermint milk tea" The milk tea sugar level is just nice, not too sweet, and the peppermint flavour is tasty. they include alot pearls too (soft and tasty), price is cheap too.

overall: brighten up your day tongue
