Strangers Brunch Smile Jul 30, 2013

The cafe name caught my attention, as it has an in-depth meaning towards friendship. I ordered their Scramble Eggs with Smoked Salmon, perfectly cooked fluffy and velvety yellow scramble egg on top on a chewy English muffins. Cured salmon acts as a flavoring element to the mellow tasting egg. Highly recommended by the friendly staff, Buttermilk Waffles was golden crispy and has a light sent of butter. Buttery waffle is served with Greek yogurt and fresh cut strawberries and bananas, simply delicious. Really enjoyed myself with a cup of robust cappuccino.

Crystal Jade Shanghai Restaurant Smile Jul 30, 2013

Sending off Daddy and Mummy for their 2nd honeymoon trip, since we already parked here might as well shop around and have our lunch here. We went to Crystal Jade at Changi Terminal 3. I have always associated Crystal Jade with high quality and standards of food. So wherever I go , whenever I see CJ I will definitely go and check it out and try.

We ordered Fried noodles, Shanghai La Mian, Xiao Long Bao, Fried Eggplant with Floss. Fried noodle is abit oily and bland tasting. La Mian is really springy, the sour and spicy mince pork sauces is very appetizing. Xiao Long Bao is hot and juicy. Crispy tempura eggplant topped with generous amount of tasty pork floss YUM.

Crystal Jade Hongkong Cafe Smile Jul 30, 2013

Wow, crystal jade group really goes into a lot of different asian style/type of cuisine. We went to Crystal Jade Hong Kong Café at Bugis. We ordered HK Milk Tea, Roast half chicken, Pepper beef with pasta, Bread with soup, Bamboo pot chicken rice. I love how they serve their milk tea; it is thick and milky not diluted as they separate the ice from the tea. Roast chicken is juicy, Beef was tender but pasta is overcooked. Creamy mushroom soup hidden in buttery puff pastry. Bamboo chicken rice is very fragrant and tasty. Overall the visual presentation was very appealing and contributed to the photogenic effects.

Coffee Lounge Smile Jul 30, 2013

I though this place only serve porridge buffet didn’t know they also serves ala carte local delights. We went to Coffee Lounge at Goodwood Park. Ordered Club Sandwich, Hainanese Pork Chop Rice, Caesar Salad. Spacious and quiet place with plenty of seats. The club sandwich is huge and delicious, the coleslaw is crunchy and creamy; I was surprised when I see hainese pork chop on the menu, tender and succulent pork chops coated with sweet and sour sauces. Salad was fresh and chicken is toothsome. Excellent service and ambience. Would definitely return!

O'Coffee Club Smile Jul 30, 2013

My mummy said she wants to be ‘trendy’ and so she wants to eat ‘ang mo’ food for lunch instead of the usual chinese food, so we went to O Coffee Club at Raffles City Shopping Centre. We ordered Skippers Delight Penne, Savoury Potato Platter.

Fragrant and tangy lobster sauces coats over well cooked penne topped with Zesty lemon, rosemary and garlic fish fillet
Potato platter is fantastically crispy fries and wedges with the cheese and salsa dipping. These smelt so good!

Overall pleasant dining experience and great companionship!
