Pies & Coffee offers a wide range of gourmet pies, some are quite interesting, such as Laksa seafood shepherd pie, ratatouille pie, duck confit pie .. just to name a few. This was my second visit to this pie place, and this time round, i tried out their lamb shank pie, as well as the Hazelnut Frappucino ($7++). The drink is huge, coffee taste is not as strong, but the aromatic Hazelnut gives a good flavour. It's icy and refreshing, good choice for the hot afternoon.

Every gourmet pie comes with a scope of mashed potato and a small portion of mixed greens with vinaigrette. The crust of the pie is well-baked and have good buttery texture. And I really enjoy eating the lamb shank filling. The meat chunks are tender, quite juicy, and the carrot pieces are well-absorbed with the flavourful gravy. What's more, the smell of mutton is not overwhelmed, which is easily accepted by those who doesn't quite like lamb I reckon.
