This satay stall is really popular, it has always needed to be queue! Especial before Chinese New Year as they sell roast pork slices, the queue was tremendously long, 10~20mins was the usual waiting time! We were there before dinner crowd that evening, so I gave it a try for their satay. We wanted mutton and pork but they have sold out mutton or did not prepare for it. Anyway, we ordered chicken and pork for 15 pieces. They served generous satay sauce and cucumber. We didn’t order the rice

We didn’t order the rice as we didn’t like the tasteless rice cube texture. Frankly we have high hope on their satay, first pork stick, meat was dried and stuck hard on the stick, tried the second chicken stick, it was the same, tried pork…chicken again, they were all hard and dried! Well, meats were well marinated but just too dry to chew. It has lost all moisture, it could be during barbeque process or left too long at the fridge as the stall closes on Wednesday. Though we found that their satay has room to improve, there were none stop patrons at that evening.
