NEW Eateries at Plaza Sing Extension
2013-01-07
Have you visited Plaza Singapura lately? If you haven’t, then now is the time to head down. They have opened the Plaza Singapura extension, the new wing which features additional shops and restaurants! Now foodies, don’t you think that this is a good enough reason to gather your friends and check out the newest eateries there? To make it easier for you, OpenRice has listed down all the food places there in each level. Check them out here: LEVEL 1
If you’re coming from the old Plaza Singapura mall, the first thing that would catch your eye is Starbucks. Featuring a higher ceiling and more spacious interior compared to other outlets, this can be your new go-to place for coffee without having trouble getting seats. Walk a little bit further and you would see Canele Pattiserie Chocolaterie which takes up majority of the space near the escalator. You can choose to have your desserts on-the-go or you can enjoy it at their dining section. If you ask us, just dine in their restaurant and relax in their oh-so cosy chairs! LEVEL 3
Yes, there is no Level 2. When you take the escalator, you go straight to the third level where you will see a lot more food places! For something healthy or filling, you can opt for: Skinny Pizza Even if they share a space with some other restaurants, they still have made it possible to give you a more intimate dining experience while you enjoy their pizzas you’ve come to love. Bangkok Jam They’ve made their restaurant quite different with all the stuff they have decorated inside. They have a stoplight beside a Thai street name, plus fake birds to keep you entertained while you wait for your food. For recommendations, do order their Stir-Fried Egg Noodle with Bacon and Crab Meat. It’s a fusion of sorts with the addition of bacon! Tsukada Nojo One thing that may attract you to this place is how much it reminds you of Japan. From the outside to its inside décor, everything is set in a minimalist way. Even their dishes are presented simply, but they’re still so good. The Soup Spoon For something light you can eat, you can visit The Soup Spoon at Plaza Sing Extension. They’re outlet here is a bit bigger now compared to their other restaurants. Dome Their location isn’t the first thing you see when you go up the escalator. But don’t you think they’re worth looking for? Fresh breads, salads, not to mention their mains… If you only fancy desserts and drinks, then go to Hoshino Coffee, Marble Slab Creamery, Nana’s Green Tea, or Dr. Café Coffee. LEVEL 4
Last but not least is the floor for the hungry people. There’s Hifumi, a Japanese restaurant which offers all-you-can-eat appetisers. Aside from that, their bento sets are also cheap but portions are quite big! There’s also a buffet restaurant here—1 Market by Chef Wan is creating a buzz amongst foodies because of its gastronomic Asian fare at reasonable prices. This restaurant is also Halal so it’s a big plus to diners. Other than the Asian restaurants, there's also Ambush, a fast casual European restaurant which offers pizza, pasta, and most dishes you love from this side of the world. With all the eateries you can find at the new Plaza Sing extension, you have more reasons to visit Plaza Singapura. Cover photo courtesy of Plaza Singapura. See Also: New to the area?
